Im having the same issue... AS soon as i get close to object it freezes or crashes.

Dude, nothing is lost , its just that this 1 house dont work everything is working when its removed.
EDIT: Fixed just needed to assign "exclude surface from culling" damn im happy now

Bam, if you didnt do this on your object , do it , it fixes the issue at least for me.

This sucks - hard. I've spent days working on this mod, made several bug free missions, fixed paths ect. and now this confused.gif

Ask an expert, or reinstal gta and put the files back in.

beleiev me I'd love to carry on with it, i tried installing it over a clean SA too, and Domm I'm really sorry but it seems out of my hands sad.gif , i don't think I'll ever stop trying but theres not anything really left to try

Its no single object, it's any object placed in certain areas of the map,if there is nothing in that space there's no problem, except massive holes everywhere

its not strangely

you export for SA
you have to EXPORT for VC

select VC and just export

Yeah it's not that i haven't tried, its just that each attempt is unsuccsessful, besides the SA engine is superior in many ways

So, you didn't release a new version with the second island? sad.gif (if you have, ignore this post, I should have found out) Anyway, I think you should release a beta 2, even if there's bugs and glitches with it. This mod is probably the best new city ever made for GTA and I'm sure it would get a "cult following" if you released at least what you made so far (like maybe just the version d0mm2k8 was working on). I mean, if it's released with the second island (the buggy one is the third right) it won't matter if it's incomplete, it would even be cool if random people made their own "unnoficial" fixes and mods for the game cool.gif Idk, it's your choice, Rob, of course, you are a super talented modder. Also, I wanna see those Aligators and The Kings of tha Streets in action again happy.gif Man, those were some cool gangs tounge.gif

There would be no point, the reason it was stopped was because of unidentifiable problems o9n the second island making the game unstable, if I can find the alligators etc I will do my best to release them but all the carcer stuff is on a backup HDD somewhere

I see, the glitch made the game unplayable. I mean, I thought it would be useful, because maybe some of us wouldn't find the glitches so annoying, but I haven't played it, so I wouldn't quite understand what it was like to play it, like you did when you were testing it dontgetit.gif
And what about the version that Domm was using? anyway, it's ok, it's really a shame when something you've been working on for so long messes up in the end bored.gif It's obviously not your fault (and if it were, we wouldn't have the right to get angry at you) . All I can do is wish you the best of luck with your current projects, you are still quite one of the best modders.

Thanks really nice to hear, and yeah the major bug was any time you entered the new island the game would crash, no idea why and there was no object that made the problem, it's a shame but I have majorly improved in my modelling ability and maturity since then, VCHD is what I'm concentrating on now compare the two and you'll see what I mean wink.gif it was good while it lasted but I guess sketchup just isn't the right tool for GTA smile.gif
