UPDATES:

Ok here it is a big mass of roads and what looks to be blank islands in the middle of them, but they are where each building will be put, now all the buildings i make will fit the roads, which is better than my old approach which was to make the road fit the buildings, let me knwo what you think colgate.gif

Roads are looking pretty cool Bam smile.gif . Good to see a real step into getting a proper map organised smile.gif . My only quarm would be that the roads look a little... Recurring. It doesn't look like there's a lot of variation on them. But I suppose once more and more buildings go on there, that effect will die away tounge.gif .

I will really try to make another building tonight as I may have some spare time, but Im not promising sad.gif .

Looks good but could do with a proper road texture. Where are the lines in the middle?

Thanks to BmrCT for making this car. I did a 2d engine and some interior refinements. Anyone knwo how to convert it coz I don't have a f*cking clue.

i prefer no lines on the floor, and also it saves maybe an hour of texture work, btw the car is good, but please shrink the badge down a little.

Nice. The new technique looks like it'll work well.

Stick to this project because it looks promising.

I'll put some screenshots of some buildings i made next time like the stage.


btw Cold Fusion how the hell did u get a PC of that spec for 160? dontgetit.gif

Well, basically on the 11th Decmber I ordered it from a UK site called Crytstech. What they do is give you the option to create your own PC and they'll build it for you, or choose from a list of already handbuilt PC's, which is what I did. I bought the Crystal Premium on the 11th December which has all the specs in my sig, but the next day, the site changed. The premium went to 190, the parts in the computer were downgraded, so, really, I was lucky to have ordered it that day, otherwise I wouldn't have it now!
Bear in mind that the 40Gb HDD, I added myself and the extra 1Gig of RAM and I installed my own operationg system, which took 60 from the price smile.gif .

If you want to have a look at the place I got it go to:

The deals are still amazing on there, but not as good as the one I got!

Euuh.. Looks ok but very flat. Looks like a box with a texturer. Try to unbox it, pull out some roofedges, windows etc. You're working with SketchUp right? Import the texture as a plane (in import-screen choose "import as image"), explode it and draw lines around the different parts (windows and roof-edges for example) and then you pull them out so you get a 3d model with a 2dtexture. Now you just make a group of this and copy it so you get a whole side of the building filled with it. I hope that you get what I mean notify.gif ..

Yeah! Finally got another building re-textured to the right res, so all I need to do is send to Bam and them... Bam! It'll be in-game!

I think that the date is current day in the mod, although you'll have to ask Bam, the settings for the mod will down to him tounge.gif .
