i was originally gonna buy this (and not pirate it like i do with all ds games with my flashcart) but apparently out of nowhere a law happens and i have to be 17 to buy it

or hopefully the clerk doesnt take the ds having a hardcore mature game seriously and lets me buy it?

You have to be 17+ to buy every GTA title... so if you are younger and are the type who plays anything regardless of age rating , then get someone older to buy it for you.

LOL @ people being too young to buy GTA.

Yeah, it happens. I get to card little children all day buying GTA and them getting all pissy faced when I tell them they have to be 17 or have their parents with them.

Life is a bitch.

I waltzed into EB Games when I was 12 and bought GTA3 for PC. The guy didn't ask for ID at all.

Yeah when I was getting gta2 on ps1 then guy serving me thought it was just a racing game so he didnt even glance at the age rating. Things are more strict these days and it does depend where you buy the game. So get somebody else to buy it if you cant get it yourself.

I bough The Orange Box, Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones in the same shop, the sellers don't mind your age.

Lucky you didn't walk into my EB Store......... we check ages like bouncers at a night club.

I have fired several people for not checking ages before........it's against the law to sell it to minors under 15 and you can be fined and would be fined as a store.

Nobody cares that youre under 18.

When Hitman Blood Money came out, then I went to buy this alone. I was 12 or 13.

Wow, lots of people here work at EB Games :-....

I used to buy GTA games all the time when I wasn't 17. Well, of course, I picked out and my parents paid for it. Often the clerk/cashier would say "You know, this game is rated M for 17 and older..." (cause they saw me, and thought they should remind my parents of the fact. I just wanted to say "shut up and mind your own business")

Exactly in France, cashiers don't care of it, when I brought GTA San Andreas I was 14, I bought GTA 3 when I was 12 (It was only 16+ in 2002) and I look younger than my real age.

Well, as you see, there is a chance for you to get away with it. If they shoo you off (they, as in the cashiers), well, just try to get someone else to get it for you.
