We don`t have to use SA Limit Adjuster, already More Vehicles increases limit from 211 to 1000 vehicles in game.

We don`t have to use Handlind Adder.
Instead simply paste handling line of new vehicle exactly to the end of handling.cfg file.
Handling lines of new vehicles have to be loaded as last. Else new handling lines won`t be loaded.

We don`t have to edit american.gxt or other language file.
Instead we can put the names of cars into FXT file.
Instruction ?>
Install CLEO library.
Create CLEO\CLEO_TEXT folder,if not exist yet.
Create vehicles.fxt
Edit its with notepad.
Now we have to get sixth parameter of vehicle from vehicles.ide
We had so entry in vehicles.ide for example:
QUOTE
613,  bmwx5,  bmwx5,  car,  BMWX5,  BMWX5,  null,  normal,  10,  0,  0,  -1,  1.00,  1.00,  0

We must read sixth argument (Game Name). This argument can`t have more than 7 chars (can have less).
As we see sixth argument is: BMWX5 (located near ", null")
Now write in vehicles.txt so content:
CODE
BMWX5 BMW X5

BMWX5 - sixth argument from vehicles.ide for this car.
And after space name of car, that will appear in game when we`ll hop in.

Spawning newly added added vehicles through 014B and 014C opcodes works, when ID of these vehicles will be in range 400-699
I`m not sure where is the end of this range, but I tested spawning car with 612 ID, 613 and it worked.

We can add vehicles as many as we want (max 1000), but there is other annoying limit.
In cargrp.dat GTA SA can load up to 23 entries per section.
It means that:
When we have e.g 30 cars in # POPCYCLE_GROUP_WORKERS
GTA SA will load only 23 first entries. Last entries will be ignored in this group.
So added cars won`t appear in the traffic and can only be spawned.

SA Limit Adjuster looked promising, but it has been abandoned.
May someone intelligent is able to crack this limit?

Added 1 car, without any issues.

Let me share something strange-
I get into the naval base in SF, have 5 stars and still roam around anywhere. I mean the resistance put up by authorities is sooo poor!

Stranger,only normal SFPD cars chase me like am having 2-3 stars , NO FBI, NO SWAT.

Inside the base there are NO COPS.

Then finally my game crashes with this error.

I add one more car and when the first one appears iin traffic it has its tyres half submerged in earth. Game Crashed.
Also, the engine sound of all the vehicles is gone, honking is ringing dontgetit.gif

Then 20mb file is enough to solve your problem. I am the author of the MANUAL/GUIDE but not the TOOLS. Credit of tools goes to its respective AUTHORS. If you don't understand what is inside then i will answer every QUESTION. All tools needed is all inside. one added car is great but 200+ cars are awesome sly.gif
FILE INCLUDE:
-Correct FORMULA for handling adder. It solves:submerged wheels,floating wheels and much more.
-Right tool and easy to understand for added car sound problems.
-A CAR SPECIAL ABILITIES FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO ADD FIRE TRUCK,SWATVAN,OR EVEN A NEW BATTLE TANK.
-A MANUAL AND VISUAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR A SUCCESSFUL ADDING.

100% works with mine and i am using this within 1 year after i descovered all solutions.

Additional About JACOB's SPAWNER: their are two files in the pack 1 is the EXE. 1 can be open by any text tool.
inside of it, erase/delete all and make your own shortcut key.

That's indeed worth to download, it contains everything a "starter", like me, needs to know colgate.gif

But I followed every single step, using 18631 ID, and my game's now crashing, I can't play it (that's not a big deal, i made a copy first biggrin.gif )
But when I use the 612 ID, the game loads fine, but the added car is with the wrong handling suicidal.gif

But am I making any common error or something like that?

Any suggestions?

if you want to learn how to add new cars,it is better to use a fresh installed GTA SA V1.0,no CLEO mods 4 a while or any .ASI engine ingame EXCEPT the TOOLS i gave.

If you have a problem with HANDLING read the instructions carefully,solve the FORMULAS correctly. I put all formulas,just read them. the problem is in your HANDLINGADDER.INI,you missed 5 THINGS INSIDE OF IT that needs FORMULAS to solve. and i think you dont change the 612 in the SALIMITS vehicle number line that's why you've got error even you gave your car an ID 18631 inside of HANDLINGADDER.INI ph34r.gif

I AM SURE THERE ARE WRONG INPUTS IN YOUR ENGINES.

HERE'S A TIP:

GTA SA ENGINES YOU NEED TO TOUCH:

HANDLING ADDER.INI
SALIMITS.INI
CAR SPECIAL ABILITIES.INI(OPTIONAL)
AND THE TOOL FOR YOUR CAR SOUNDS

INSIDE GTA SA/DATA:
CARCOLS=ALPHABETICAL ARRANGE
HANDLING.CFG=CAR HANDLING MUST BE THE SAME AS IN THE HANDLING ADDER.INI BUT SOME FACTORS INSIDE OF IT NEEDS TO SOLVE CAREFULLY AND MUST BE CORRECT SEE THE README INSIDE.
VEHICLES.IDE=FILL-UP THIS AND YOU WILL SEE YOUR ADDED CAR IN GTA SANANDREAS MOD INSTALLER.
BELOW IS A SAMPLE:

ADDED CAR ID, .dff name, .txd name, type of vehicle,INGAME NAME.....................................................................
if your .dff and .txd name are all capitalize then inside of vehicles.ide make it all capital also.

18631 is your ID,HANDLING ADDER ID ALSO,AND MAX VEH.LIMIT No. inside of your vehicles.ide original max. id no. inside of vehicles.ide is 612 , so inside of SALIMIT it is 612, now that you have your 18631 1st added ID inside of SALIMIT change it now to 18631.

JUST PLEASE,..IF YOU NEED HELP GUYS,SUBMIT ME YOUR GTA SA:EDITED ENGINES PIC (e.g. carcols.dat,handling.cfg,vehicles.ide,HANDLINGADDER.INI,SALIMIT.INI,CARSPECABILITIES.INI,AND IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS IN CAR SOUNDS,INCLUDE THE VEHICLEAUDIOHOOKED.XML)
DO NOT TOUCH CARSPECABILITIES IF NOT NECCESSARY TO USE. IT WILL GIVE YOU A PROBLEM

stay in ID 18631
After you ADD just restart your PC,run GTA SA and SPAWN your new added car, if not, check your ENTRIES.
And about your HANDLING problems, check handlingadder.ini. Did you solve the 6 VALUE LINES correctly?
It is normal that you can encounter error in your 1st ADD. just restart your PC. If same problem appear, download the file above
and please USE YOUR SECONDARY "ENTER" key down your NUMPADS in spawning manually icon14.gif

hi...

I downloaded the file, nice work btw, but, i restarted my PC after adding the car, ran the game, and the very same error appears, right in the middle of the loading screens...

I see, as i said lately, errordump sometimes is not accurate, give me all data's you've working on and i will fix it for you then compare and review. I want to see the model and the readme.txt include,also the result of your handlingadder.ini handling.cfg, vehicles.ide, a pic of your ROOT DIRECTORY. also a pic of your added .dff & .txd inside of your gta3.img. Try 1st adding the models i gave before adding other car. monocle.gif

and in addition,please use ONLY the tool i gave to avoid INCOMPATIBILITY. monocle.gif

To test if there is CONFLICTS. Copy all the tools i gave then copy and paste the data of the BTR i gave.
The BTR works FINE with mine then restart your PC. I hope it will spawn just like mine. wink.gif

IF YOU DONT STILL ADD THE VEHICLE YOU WANT, YOU CAN SENT IT TO ME THEN I WILL GIVE THE SUCCESS RESULT FOR YOU. colgate.gif

Edward, here's your VIPER you want to ADD, there is a PIC FOLDER inside and DATA's you need for your DODGE VIPER, i already ADD it.
I suggest you to UNINSTALL your GTA SA then USE a FRESH INSTALLED GTA SA. It is much SAFE.
Don't forget to BACK-UP ALL YOUR MODS,CLEO's.

hi...

I used the files you sent on the .rar file, but... still the same error, i just don't get it... I guess i'll just move on to the first thing i was told to do: re-install the game, use a fresh copy... I was trying to avoid that, there's a lot of time spent on this game, but at least i'll know where the problem is devil.gif

And with your counseiling, i CAN'T fail confused.gif

The problem was my game... I used a fresh copy, checked every step, and it works colgate.gif ...

Now I'll transfer all my mods to that copy, patiently dozingoff.gif

okay first, you are using a wrong ID, i notice, inside "salimits.ini" it is 213 then, the maximum ID you may enter is up to 213 only,.if you want 612 then change 213 to 612. I suggest use 18631 as your 1st ID. i will wait for further error you may encounter until we find out what's the error. submit me all your edited files including your veyron with the readme.txt include, i will fix it for you and compare monocle.gif

for submitting your files edited and the car model just archieve your file and upload it via www.mediafire.com then sent me the sharing URL
it is much easy for me to find if i open it and see everything you have in your directory,by this,also, i can find if there is CONFLICTS

REMINDER ALSO:
i suggest name your .dff and .txd file in all small letters,if not and use CAPITAL LETTERS then change your .dff and .txd name inside vehicles.ide with ALL CAPITAL letters

and i notice to all of you guys,..that some of you are using other sound tool for your car, i hope there is no misplace bikehorns or any weird sounds in your game,,just incase use the audiohooked.xml i am using monocle.gif

I understand if some of you won't give-up there GAME MODS for this tutorial,..but what i can say is, It is nice to play again GTA SA together with ADDED CARS we want and then 1 by 1 adding mods like cleo scripts and other added engines.

Additional above:
Actually we can add cars, ships, trucks, bikes, trailers and airplanes with this style of adding,
The only problems if you play the added airplane are:
1. No hiding wheels(we need .asi file or cleo for this) if someone will make i hope just like in "carspecialabilities" just adding the ID for them
to work.
2. For cargo airplanes, you wont able to open the cargo hold(i wish someone will make a cleo script or .ASI engine for them to work for added airplanes.)

i can add the "STRATOTANKER" because i dont want to replace my cargo C-130. But i cant use the oil refueling,too sad for me,Air-to-air refueling is very nice but C-130 can deliver my bikes across the ocean or island to island in no time.

Q: why you dont mentioned about adding helicopters?
A: we can add it also, but,we need a cleo script again or .ASI file that can read or convert a special handling for helicopters,what it read is just like the car style. no lean(left & right) or forward nor backwards BUT MANUEVER LIKE A LAND VEHICLE confused.gif

Model i use in bike sample is a TRICYCLE by FRANCIS115 (kapwa ko pinoy) biggrin.gif
And the model i use as sample of added truck are:
1.MAZ-head
2.Mercedes-benz axor 6x4-head
and for the trailer, a WINDOWS VISTA trailer. 11mb file hoping that it will help others.
on wednesday i will upload a sample of added airplane(C-130 SPECTRE by RYUSOKE) with working cleo fire guns
and a BATTLE TANK. Tomorrow we dont have our class so im out of the forum. biggrin.gif

and sorry for 2 days no replies for the others,i have my weekend vacation SATURDAY AND SUNDAY so im out also of that day.
but anyway,i always here,tryin to fix problems. and i advice,always HAVE PATIENT for adding. icon14.gif

another morning came and here,.for those who want to ADD AIRPLANE to GTA SA,.AC130h by RYOSUKE with working FIREGUNS,..the ID is 18639 and if it is your 1st added vehicle just change the ID,.also the model inside of the CLEO SCRIPT change the name of the model depends in your AC130 ID.
