Gee, the refs look real good even on the low-poly Xbox cars.

Also the effects look damn good for a mod that's meant to not differ from R*'s effort.

looks good, il be dwonlopading for defo, but you can walk in gta3 pc if you have acontroller plugged in, same as vc and sa

On xbox gta3 when a cars comin and is very close if you jump left or right claude dives that way
EDIT:but not back or front on to the ground where ever you dive.

Is there any progress being made lately?

Is there a possiblity to make the wheels of the AI cars turn while they are taking a bend?

GTA 3 was the best "old" GTA, its better than Vice City and San Andreas. In San Andreas when you drive over People you get BIG slowed down that was the gayest thing in the Game. And Vice City was too small and i didn't like the music. GTA 3 Xbox Version was the first GTA i ever played 6 years ago i had most fun in Liberty City.

You didn't like Vice City's music? Sacrilege. V-Rock is the best GTA radio station ever created...

III will always be my favourite GTA for its gritty tale of a criminal empire, but VC is one that I hold close to my heart...

People, I am back! I was really busy with real life... and don't worry about the mod - It is not dead.
I finally finished all Liberty City tree patches! I'll post my prog later.
Also there's a huge progress with textures. Check the 1st page for fresh progress info

Vice City never got the HD treatment IIRC.

Were those extra pieces of mission code (buying cars etc.) in the Xbox version of GTAIII?

Nope. It's just a new scm edition to make the game more interesting. We're also planing to enable crouching.

I know where to get a 256x256 road texture which looks even better than the Xbox one.
