the second one is just a filtered texture. there is a 256x256 version of that texture untouched.

yea DimZet13 a great modder, but the thing is, that texture is an original one from gta3 img archives. also, look for manhunt archives aswell, the game uses txd format, and it has some of gta textures in hd format.

Extract every txd with The Hero's txdex with this batch:

for %%i in (*.txd*) do txdex %%i & if /i not "%%~nxi"=="%~nx0" md "%%~ni" 2>nul & move "*.tga*" "%%~ni" >nul

by d3jan, and then use some file explorer to find that texture :D, how simple.

Found some more textures improved in SA, but not in III Xbox. This time it's the improved Joey's garage.

Second one seems more like a desing change to fit in SA, but meh who cares the old one looks pretty ugly anyway and it's cutscene interior.

Texture 'tools' more have in MP maps from mobile version. And more others.

But in original xbox version not have its textures. I think release original conversion(only from xbox. Now i done), and HQ xbox mod(conversion from all Rockstar games and source)

Actually I didn't hink of looking into mobile version's files as most of stuff was already found and III/VC use mostly Xbox stuff.

Is it possible to replace III's bone system to VC's? They're on the same engine, I believe it might be. Also has anyone heard of cubemapping for the reflections? Might be more efficient than ENB

Seeing what you guys do, Including the aircraft mod and some others really makes me happy. GTA III was my favourite, and you guys truly make it shine. Top notch work.

I think he wants the VC Bone System to III, and AFAIK it's possible. :)

Pretty sure this is VC feature they backported kinda like it uses VC's animation system for cutscenes and VC rain effect.

They actually upgraded the game to the Vice City engine, hence the drops.
