Can I disable this blur? I prefer the original, more stable camera. Which files should I copy then?

Doesn't work, right?

I'm experciencing a weird bug. Without any graphical mod, I have no shadows. And the shadows in the game are set to "High". And there are no shadows at all!

Hi Rinu, that sounds very strange, are you sure you are not using ENB series? it's known to not work with shadows after the latest patch.

IS IT WORKING WITH EFLC?
CAUSE YOU KNOW I REALLY love new shadows and i don't want to use enb mod for eflc and i want
to have these game midifiers to get a better envirement

Try it, but I wouldn't recommend copying the shaders.

Love this mod, makes everything not so "gray" looking.

One request - any chance of replacing the LOD trees? It's not so bad on foot or in a vehicle, but in a chopper the trees go from brown to green, like it's going from fall to spring in a few seconds. biggrin.gif

Anyway, thanks for this, nice job!

No, kriller, not wearing ENB. I've even reinstalled the game from scratch :s

It's not dead. I just don't have time to update the mod every time Rockstar screws up with another patch and no reason to change something that so many users enjoy.

If you want just shiny reflections you should try the Enb series that does just that:
enb with only reflections

but I dont know if it will work with the new patches.

Hey kriller2 or anyone else that can help, when ever I add this mod into my game, the game always crashes on the black loading screen. I'm using patch 1.0.6.0 but it used to work without the crash. I'm not sure if it only crashes with this mod though I've experienced similar crashes just from editing some of the .dat files for example the handling.dat file. Hope someone can help, and thanks a lot for this wonderful mod.

Hi, I have been testing the mod with a clean install and the new patch 1.6. To use this mod with the patch 1.6 delete the files that ends with ".img" in these folders before copying the files:

gta environment mod 5\Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\data\cdimages\
gta environment mod 5\Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\data\maps\generic\
gta environment mod 5\Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\data\maps\props\vegetation

Then after the above step, download the hotfix and copy the timecyc from the hotfix to
gta environment mod 5\Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\data

(The timecyc from the hotfix is needed for patch 1.5 and 1.6 to remove the grain that shows at night and in fog)

Last copy the files to your grand theft auto IV installation directory.

Does it work now?

If still doesn't work then try delete the commandlines.txt and run the game again

Work in progress for ENB series

You are back?? icon14.gif

Looks good, just a bit to bright/to much bloom IMO.

Hi Younggun,
Yes. working from to time to see if it's possible to make improvements on the environments using ENB and some old files I left on my hardisk a long time ago smile.gif

Boris has done a fantastic job with enb, but it's a shame R* have made so many changes after patch 1.5 that he decide to let it go.

So gonna post a new version in this topic?

Very nice looking clouds. icon14.gif

Is there an easy way to make shadows darker, or do you have to edit the timecyc?

Hi, Thanks smile.gif
yes you can.

Use EditIV and go to other parameters and change dark shadows to a higher value, but be carefull shadows can quickly become to dark and shadows are not that dark in real life unless the object casting the shadow is near to the ground and it's sunny.
