This mod improves all the visual effects in SA.

This mod Replaces:
- particle.txd
- hud.txd
- effectsPC.txd
- effects.fxp
- fronten_pc.txd
- fronten1.txd
- vehicle.txd
- cj_street_props.txd
- cj_traffic.txd
- gay_xref.txd
- mitraffic.txd
- a51_alpha.txd
- a51_detailstuff.txd
- ballyswater.txd
- lodc*nty.txd
- rczero_track.txd
- vegaswaterfall.txd
- vgndwntwn3.txd
- waterfall_sfw.txd
- And more files that are optional.

This mod Contains:

- Transparent Water (very improved).
- Wind system (now effects are afected by wind).
- Animated textures system for some effects.
- HQ textures for HQ version, normal textures for MQ version and LQ textures for LQ version.
- Long distance effects.
- New aim.
- Real traffic lights (improved) (SF bug fixed).
- New rocketlauncher aim.
- New radar look.
- Plane icon when you fly (improved).
- New Marker.
- New blood (improved).
- Better blood effect (improved).
- New sparks effect (When a bullet hit on some place will be created some beautiful sparks and some fragments) (improoved).

NOTE: This mod includes a modified HQLM (by GTC Team and modded by me) and complements for SA GTA IV Hud (textures by Alexander Blade and modded by me).

What is new since 1.4?:

- Improved system optimization. (yes, again)
- Long distance effects. (click on the pic)
- stablished compatibility with proyect reality (with new textures).
- Fixed gunshells life.
- Created a more realistic gunsmoke
- improved water texture.
- Fixed horinzon clouds problem
- Improoved rhino shooting smoke and reduced effect's prims.
- Textures upgraded to HD textures (increasing it's size and quality)
- Reduced effects's coplapsing effect.
- Improovef ALL explosions.
- Improoved missiles's smoke with an experimental technique (animated textures).
- New fully animated drifting smoke.
- Animated spark's debris with random behaviour (not in the animation. It has random live and speed).
- Increased rain's animation to 4 textures.
- Improoved fire.
- Fixed gunsmoke lag and improoved its heathaze appearance.

Manual Instalation

1- First install Required Files from "Required Files" folder. The following files goes to "models" folder (which is inside your game's folder): "effectsPC.txd", "effects.fxp", "particle.txd", "hud.txd", "fronten1.txd" and "fronten_pc.txd". You can find "effectsPC.txd" and "particle.txd" inside three different folders that are placed inside "Required Files" folder. Choose the ones you want (if you want HQ version choose the files from HQ folder, MQ version from MQ folder and LQ version from LQ folder). After that install "vehicle.txd" put it inside the "generic folder", which is inside "models".
2- Now you can install complemets. All complements are installed importing files to "gta3.img". Just choose the ones you are gonna install. You can install "Traffic lights complements" and "Water complements" without problems. But install "Weapon's complements" only if you still have the original SA weapons and install "SA GTA IV Hud complements" only if you have "SA GTA IV Hud mod"


SAMI Instalation

1- First of all you need to have San Andreas Mod installer. If you don't have it get it. You can find it easly in google.
2- Open each sami to install what its name says: "[HQ]Install New Great Effects 1.5.sami" will install NGE 1.5's HQ version, "[MQ]Install New Great Effects 1.5.sami" will install NGE 1.5's MQ version, "[LQ]Install New Great Effects 1.5.sami" will install NGE 1.5's LQ version, "Install SA GTA IV Hud Complements.sami" will install SA GTA IV Hud Complements (don't install them if you don't have SA GTA IV Hud mod) and "Install Weapon Complements.sami" will install Weapon Complements (don't install them if you don't have the original SA weapons. If you have only some original weapons install them using manual installation.)
3- Select your game folder (the root folder) and press continue. Then press install.

NOTE: Dont's use "Install SA GTA IV Hud Complements.sami" if you don't have SA GTA IV Hud mod or "Install Weapon Complements.sami" if you have modded your weapons.

Let me break that sentance up in terms you could understand...

This sentance means posters should only post topics in this forum if they are previews, or releases with download links. Posters should also only post topics for mods that are near complete or finished.

Did he give us previews? No. Did he give us a download link? No. Does the mod look like it's anywhere near completed? Again, no.

I really like your effects King, but i'm using my own effects atm, and anyway here's a couple of suggestions :

Explosions smoke trails, i'm trying to make it work... i think it's possible if we gave the sparks a smoke trail, but i had no success atm

Blood, your effects needs a couple of blood splats

Smoke, include many types, like cigarette smoke style for ex.

Things i love about your effects:
The explosion debris
Wind system

Things i hate:
Explosions always look the same
Nos effect


Also let me know if you need some textures wink.gif

Well it's rather pathetic that people like you guys act all though with things like this. Seriously, come on. Just report it if it's bad... no big deal.

Admins/moderators will deal with it if it's really disturbing/out of place.

I don't find anything non-suitable in here. It'd be better if he would provide some screenshots and/or some 'living links' to previous versions of the mod.

But not a big deal tbh...

Yes, the explosion's smoke trails are posssible, but not with good results (i made that proyect for 1.4, but it was bad). Only copy the spark's emmiter, change emmiter's texture(s) to a smoke texture, Add a trail num_prim and done. But it won't follow the particles D:. Other way is to copy the particle's emitter, change emmiter's texture(s) to a smoke texture, increase its size, reduze its emrate, add biad to angle and done.

Just to make myself clear...

When I said "you should use only 256x256 and 512x512 textures", I actually meant nothing smaller than those values. 256 and 512 are frequent values in GTA mods and that's why I mentioned them. If you want to make HQ textures with 1024x1024, feel free to do so smile.gif

Also, since your mod is particle mod itself, it can't be compatible with "Project Reality". However, you could use some "key" textures like water and clouds in "New Great Effects" (with Dinuxx's permission, of course) The same thing goes for effects.FXP... Let it be unique, but "PReality" compatible icon14.gif

When I said "you should use only 256x256 and 512x512 textures", I actually meant nothing smaller than those values. 256 and 512 are frequent values in GTA mods and that's why I mentioned them. If you want to make HQ textures with 1024x1024, feel free to do so smile.gif

Also, since your mod is particle mod itself, it can't be compatible with "Project Reality". However, you could use some "key" textures like water and clouds in "New Great Effects" (with Dinuxx's permission, of course) The same thing goes for effects.FXP... Let it be unique, but "PReality" compatible icon14.gif

It is compatible, i took the textures that my mod didn't have from dunux's one, then i modified them.
So i don't need permision cuz i don't have parts of his mod, i only made mine compatible.

my opinion:
Nitro fire is too big! and the color is too pink!
too much smoke on fire! after blowing a lot of cars i can eaven see my self!

The nitro i think is good and the some after blowing a lot of cars won't let you to see anything in real life. So in my mod the same.

Less smoke where? give me pic of the effect. Better clounds are being made. Explain me the "less dark somthing like mid-gray". thanks, it will make me understand better how to do it.

Explosions always look the same due to the fact that gta sa only have four kind of explosions with an add on for vehicles. Only five effects don't let a game to have a lot of different explosions. Anyways i think i can make them change adding bias.
The shooting doesn't lag me. But i'll try.

I made that because i read some comments telling that it would be cool, cuz sa looks more real, cuz i like it and cuz that tool teached me how to do it.
