Here`s how it`s done:
First you have to target any ped !
Then press the UP button to start the mission !
After the mission has started the ped will follow you !
Now go to the Jetskis marked on the picture !
Enter one of the Jetskis !
Wait for the ped to come !
He`ll throw you of your Jetski and drive away !
Now hurry and get to the other Jetski !
You`ll recieve a gun !
Follow the ped and try to kill him with your weapon !

Watch out, he`s quite fast, if you take to long to get to the other Jetski he`ll be out of sight and you`ll have a hard time to catch up with him anymore...

R,G,B stands for Red, Green, Blue !
Use LEFT/RIGHT to set the amount of red, green, blue your car currently has !
Use UP/DOWN to switch between R, G, B and R2, G2, B2 !

R2, G2, B2 are the the second carcolor ! (If your vehicle has one !)

It is a very cool remake of that famous VC mission, but it had a minor bug, where it was impossible to reach the end of the stunt course !

I`ve fixed this by adding an additional ramp, and I`ve also included a second way to finish the course !
(You can now jump onto the roof of the hospital in downtown and progress to the next roof from there.

Here`s a teleport to bring you back to the start of the mission in case you fell down:

It`s a lot better than the old one.
You don`t need the teleport cheat anymore.
AND IT INCLUDES TWO ENEMIES !!!
It`s a proof to show you, that I can create multiple enemies.
Activate the cheat and target two peds to start the mission !
You can start it from anywhere now, there`s no need to teleport anymore.

Other than that it works just like the old version, the only thing I could not include in this version was the burning barrel...
But I don`t think of it as a big problem, I just replaced it with an explosive barrel in this version.
I think I`ll use this cheat as a base for custom missions from now on, because it contains pretty much everything we need to create them !

EXPLOSIVE BARRELS AS USEABLE WEAPONS

You can now throw or shoot explosive barrels.
Just activate one of the two cheats to get either throwable barrels or the barrel launcher.
After you`ve thrown/shoot a barrel simply press CIRCLE to detonate it !

It works absolutely perfect, there`s just one little problem.
If there are other objects like lampposts or pickups near you they might transform into explosive barrels aswell !
And sometimes when other objects are near you which transform your grenades/rockets won`t transform into barrels ! whatsthat.gif
But if you use those cheats at an "objectless" place like the airport, Leaf Links, the junkyard or the roof of some house it will always work.

You can throw/shoot about 10 barrels at the same time, but only the last one thrown/shoot will be remote controlled.
(explodes when you press CROSS)
The others explode, if you shoot them or if another barrel explodes next to them.

This is a very cool cheat, it`s fun to watch the barrels you`ve thrown bounce around, and even funnier to watch the flying barrels which come out of your barrel launcher glide through the air.
Try to fire them inside some interiors !
They will keep bouncing around between the walls ! facedesk.gif

By the way, it is possible to change those cheats, to make you throw/shoot any other object found in the game !

The good old adrenaline pill, which slows down the game for some Matrix like action:

When I found this, it just recently made me remenber that good old mission from GTA VC called "The fastest Boat".

It works just like the object changer.
Press LEFT and RIGHT while holding the LTRIGGER to choose a vehicle ID.

You can find out the vehicle ID`s if you look at the Cheatdevices builtin Carspawn Cheat.
The number which is displayed there, right before the vehicle name is the ID.

It`s not a very usefull cheat, but I created/posted it anyways.
I`ve done this while playing around with carspawning and just decided to release it.
It`s actually quite funny to speed around on a PCJ-600 inside the Mall !
You have to enter through one of the doors which are NOT next to the BMX to make it work !
Otherwise the game will still spawn the BMX.
There might be a little problem with very big vehicles like the tank, for example !
They might get stuck inside the "Win this Bike" thingy (Can`t find the right word, lol) where the BMX normally spawns.
Use Step Through Walls to get them out !
The only really bad thing is, that you can`t start the "Mashing up the Mall" sidemission with other vehicles, that might have been funny, but whatever !

Just have fun with it and remember:

DON`T SELECT NUMBERS BELOW 170 OR HIGHER THAN 279. THEY CRASH THE GAME, BECAUSE YOU CAN ONLY SPAWN CARS USING THIS CHEAT !

I just recently browsed through the old Cheat Development Topic again and saw a very cool pointer, found by Durka Durka Mahn while looking for some interesting things in that good old topic.
It`s the pointer to the object which is the nearest to Vics position !

It`s very funny, try it with the Pinata Man (ID 7313) or the Explosive Barrel (ID 450) for example !

It should work with all objects you can place in the Construction Mode !
And it will affect all of them aswell, which means every lamppost, barrel, crate, wooden bench etc. you get near to will transform into whatever you want !

If you need help to find out the object ID of the object you want to appear activate the the following cheat.
You just need to touch an object while this cheat is active and it`s object ID will be displayed in your money meter !

I`ve made the cheat start with ID 450 (the explosive barrel) when you first turn it on.
Just make sure you DO NOT select any number lower than 330, because that`s where the cars and peds start !
The cheat works without any crashing, you just need to make sure, that you select an OBJECT ID !
Not a CAR, PED or BUILDING one !
If you try to use the ID of a Car, Ped or Building it will either make nothing appear, which means the objects next to you will simply dissappear, or even worse, it might crash the game !

It might also help to choose an object ID while there are no objects near you which might turn into whatever the moneymeter displays. It has not happend yet, but I have the feeling that this eventually could crash the game because there are some numbers in between which always crash the game if you try to spawn them.
As I said I haven`t encountered any crashes yet, but some numbers crash in the Construction Mode, so I`m almost sure that they will crash in this cheat aswell !

Here`s an improved version of the Hitmen cheat. It`s basically the same as the old one but you no longer have to target a ped first, it works immediately after you turned it on:

I know you expect some more from me, so of course that`s not all this cheat does. lol.gif
Just ignore the hitman, kill him, run away from him, whatever he`s not important.
After you created this first hitman the real fun starts.
Because every now and then a random ped who gets in your sight will automatically become the next hitman !
This means, that random people start attacking you without any warning.
There can always be only one hitman, so this means if you drive far enough away from the last killer the Cheatdevice randomly chooses another nearby ped to be the next hitman !
And you`ll always be chased by some psycho maniac with an AK whose only goal is making your live a dissaster. Lol

Whatch out, he`ll always appear in the moments, when you`re not expecting it ! devil.gif

It`s really funny and if you want me to, I`ll make more versions of it where he has different weapons.
Just tell me what weapon you would like him to have !

I did not make this cheat on purpose, it was nothing more than a quick cheatcode I created to test the equip peds with weapon cheat, which sometimes crashes.
Anyways, while using this to test the ped weapon cheat I`m going to use in the custom missions I noticed, that it was actually fun to have random peds starting to attack you, it remembered me of Ma`s hitmen in LCS.
So I thought you folks might enjoy it aswell and decided to post it.

Here`s my updated version of the Bodyguard Mod !

It works exactly like before, I`ve not changed anything on the way the bodyguard behaves.
I`ve just changed the button combinations, which are now as follows:

While you aim at a ped press UP to recruit him
If you want him to attack others hold TRIANGLE while aiming at another ped
If you want to kill your bodyguard hold LTRIGGER and press SQUARE at the same time

It no longer crashes when you activate manual aim mode, but I was not able to prevent that anoying bug, where your bodyguard stops following you after he killed someone. You still need to aim at him with any weapon after he killed someone to make him normal again !

Here`s the create your personal bodyguard cheat:

I included every weapon found in the game, but some of them are glitched !
Now target any random ped and he`ll be your bodyguard.
Now deactivate the get weapon cheat again, so other peds you target at don`t get weapons aswell !
But leave the Bodyguard cheat on !
If you now target any enemy your bodyguard starts shooting him...
Note that there`s a little glitch, sometimes if your bodyguard killed a ped he stops following you and starts to make some weird looking "walking in two directions at the same time" stuff.
To make him normal again, just taget him with a weapon, like your pistol for example.
He`ll also follow you into your car if you enter one, but unfortunately he can`t make drivebys !
I`ve made him invincible by the way, so if you want to get rid of him simply press LTRIGGER+SQUARE and he`ll suicide ! suicidal.gif Lol about that.

I`ve found an alternate way of "spawning" peds:
The thing is, I can`t spawn new peds into the game, but what keeps me from using the already existing ones in my custom missions ? So I was thinking of a way to modify the peds to do what I want them to. And I was succesful !
The pointer to the ped you target at has been found by Durka Durka Mahn ages ago.
With a little AI modifying, teleporting, car and objectspawning, and a few button combinations, it is possible to do pretty much anything with any random ped from the streets.

It`s not really what you could call a mission, but I think it`s enough to demonstrate, how my custom missions are going to work. It`s really simple, first you have to use the teleport to Dark Alley cheat. Now you just activate the Dark Alley cheat, then you target any random ped, doesn`t matter which one, it works with all peds, as long as they are on foot. After you have targetted him, all you have to do is hold LEFT TRIGGER and RIGHT TRIGGER and press LEFT at the same time. Now the example mission will start, you will be teleported to some backyard near the stadium. The ped you previously targetted is now a dangerous killer with a big gun waiting for you to come...
Go and show him, who`s the biggest badboy of you two !

If you should have problems to find him, here`s a little help:
Just follow the sound of the fire, if you know what I mean !

Also note that there`s a little bug, if you can call it one:
Sometimes the enemy gets "toasted" by the fire before you can reach him.
I could have fixed it, but then I had to remove the fire, which I thought would take away most of the atmosphere !

And yes, it would have been a lot easier, if I got the pedspawn to work. In fact I`m not saying, it is impossible, the problem is, it could take months to find the right adresses and I really don`t want to spend every single bit of my free time on this one cheat, if I found another way of creating custom missions without pedspawn. Ah I wish Edison Carter would be back, I`m sure it would be a matter of hours until he finds it. But I`m not even close to him in terms of cheatfinding skills. Anyways, I`ll do my best and I still have some big plans with this game.

I want to create some missions which involve cars driven by enemies.
I know how to make a ped enter a vehicle and I also know how to make it follow a custom path as you could see it in my Heli Driver cheat !
I`m thinking of a helicopter chasing you, with enemies shooting at you from the sides of the heli, similiar, to the Maverick in "Burning Bridges".

And what about a little shootout in the Vice Point Mall ?
I could recreate the ph34r.gif Choplifter ph34r.gif mission, which was removed from the game.
It was going to take place in the mall, where you would work as a security guard and you had to kill robbers which tried to rob out the stores.

Believe me, there are thousands of possibilities, to create really cool custom missions with my Ped Teleport method !
I`m currently working on a little tutorial, which explains exactly what each of the lines in the cheat do, what you can place there and what effect you`ll get.
So you all can make your own missions, without any cheating knowledge needed!
I think I`m finished with it in a few hours !
So I`ll post it later this day.

And I`m really sorry, for not beeing able to get pedspawning to work sad.gif . But I think we can still have a lot of fun with this. You just have to target the peds, which you want to take place in your mission before the mission starts. So as long as you don`t forget how many peds you need for your mission, everything is alright !

Ugh maybe I spoke a little too soon, I had a chance to try the cheat out and unfortunately it froze confused.gif . Everything worked fine until I targeted a ped and pressed the L and R buttons then it just sorta froze. Out of curiosity I tried just pressing the L and R buttons without targeting a ped and I was teleported behind the stadium. Maybe I'm doing something wrong on my end since It worked for you.

And dont worry about it man, I'm just grateful someones actually still interested in trying to make cheats, its kinda inspired me to see what I can do to make cheats.

And I never heard about any removed missions, thats awesome, I wondered why there were so many missing addresses in the mission selector, but all of your Ideas sound awesome, I can't wait until this cheat is perfected ph34r.gif

Well, about your Problem, I`ve updated my cheat about an hour ago. It should work now. If you still have it crashing, you should make sure, that you have no weapon equipped while targetting the ped and you have to make sure, that you do not target someone riding a bike! This will make it crash. If nothing helps, I will take a look at what exactly might make it crash. I used the same way as in my make all peds attack you with any weapon cheat to give him the gun. As I said earlier in my AI Hacking Thread, it might crash sometimes, if you give a weapon to a ped. Maybe I can find a way to prevent this, but I can`t guarantee it.

And about the removed missions. Thats some really interesting stuff, you can find hidden in the game files.
There were many missions removed from this game.

Some example:

"Faking it", a mission for Lance Vance, which should take place right after "From Zero to Hero". In this mission you had to drive to the construction site near the gas station at Ocean Beach. There you had to smash some walls which would contain the stolen cocaine hidden by Lance without alerting the nearby security guards. The Walls, you had to break in that mission are still in the game. It`s the object, the Cheatdevices Construction Mode starts with, a wall without a hole, and the next object is the same wall with a hole in it.

Another example:

Leo Teal was going to return. He would have given you 5 assassination missions, similiar to the ones in GTA Vice City.
Have you ever wondered why there are exactly 5 public payphones placed in this city (Not counting the ones in the airport terminal)? They were used as contact spots with Leo Teal !

There are much more removed missions, but I don`t have any information about how they would`ve looked alike...

It`s a shame, but we will probably never find out what role they played in the storyline. Or what characters there were going to take part in those missions. (Like Laura Shrub, which is found on the games boxart for example. But never appeared ingame)

Yeah, its really too bad R* removed them, I wonder why these guys never keep their games like they were originally supposed to. It`s just like with the cool beta outfit of Toni in LCS or Darkel in GTAIII. I really don`t know what makes them do such things. They always remove things which actually sound like cool and good ideas. Those missions seemed like real fun to play !

Wow, these missions sound awesome. The Caught in the Act and Leap & Bound missions were one mission together called "Jump Ship". But there was not much changes between the final version anyways.

Oh yes, you know, it`s really a shame that Edison, the genius behind the Cheatdevice doesn`t seem to care about it anymore...

But I know for sure, that even Edison Carter would not be able to make those missions playable again, because I searched trough the Main.scm and I already tried myself to make them aviable again by replacing some other missions with them.

It`s not going to work, simply because the missions are no longer included in the main.scm all of the unused missions code has been removed from the Main.scm the only thing, that remains are some texts related to those missions found inside the english.gxt !

Yeah, I`ve never heard about Bonzo aswell and I know many of those "GTA secrets" !

If you could explain, who he is, or tell me if you can find something about him in the GXT files, I would appreciate it !

I can vaguely remember something I heard about a corrupt police chief, who was going to appear in san Andreas, might it be this guy?

Just to carify this, I`m of course NOT talking about Tenpenny! It was someone else, but I can`t find the topic anymore, where I read about him...

If I remember right, it was Deezire who found out about him, he also created that awesome mode called Things to do in San Andreas, which brought many beta elements back into the game !

I cannot paste the code piece, when i copy and paste it it just comes up with (NS) instead of the piece of code.

Wow, now you got me! I thought I would know about any of those beta things, but that`s new to me. I`ll take a look around the net if I can find some info on him. This sounds interesting, seems to me like they replaced him with Zero then.
Maybe because a Clown would`ve seemed a bit strange in a GTA game, who knows ?

Hey wait, there were clowns in this game, they drove the Mr. Whopper !
I had completely forgotten about them.

Wow I've never heard about a mission giving clown. Ive always had an interest in beta versions of games like Goldeneye and the original VC and SA but I never heard about a clown or VCS beta missions.

Hey, don`t worry I have TONS of more cheats for you, lots of already finished ones, which I did not post yet. And Also lots of ideas for good cheats, which I just haven`t tried to create yet !

Of course I`ll release more cheats, the thing is just, I don`t want to release all of my stuuf at once, because then I wouldn`t have any more for you, so enjoy my cheats one after the other ! Another reason is, that I don`t have that much time to spend on creating cheats because of school...

I create most of my cheats at weekends, but I`m not only doing this, to keep you entertained. I`m doing it because I have fun creating cheats and then playing around with them, knowing that I can do some cool things in my favorite game rahkstar2.gif didn`t want me to. devil.gif

At the moment I`m working on the custom missions, but after I`m finished with this I`ll try some other things. I still have some big plans with this game. Character animations like crouching are going to be my next target for example !

And just to let you know, I`m not Edison Carter, and I`ll probably never be. My hacking skills are not even close to his, but still better than nothing, right ?

Yeah, you`re right about "Jump Ship", I was just reading a preview of VCS a few minutes ago.
(You know, for the nostalgic feel, remembering how I couldn`t wait for it to finally get released !)

Anyways, have you seen the beta look of Vic, and the Semper Fi Logo on the admin building of Fort Baxter in some beta pics ?

If you compare beta Vic with what is believed to be Vic in GTA Vice Citys intro, you can clearly see the similarities:

Wow, that about solves the whole did Vic really die in VC debate... They probably changed Vic around because he was so hard to understand, not everybody plays the game with subtitles on, lol.

Oh and Upaluppa, I noticed on your ped AI hacking thread that you would be working on a make your own bodyguard cheat, I've always wanted to have some of my gang tag along when I'm on a mission, I was just wondering how far along are you with that?

Hey, in fact this cheat is looong finished, oh my, I`m really getting old...

I`m sorry I had this thing finished back at the day I posted about it in the AI Hacking thread. I`ve just forgotten to post it.

But here you go:

Activate the Bodyguard cheat first and leave it on, now choose one of the weapons from the list.
I included every weapon found in the game, but some of them are glitched !
Now target any random ped and he`ll be your bodyguard.
Now deactivate the get weapon cheat again, so other peds you target at don`t get weapons aswell !
But leave the Bodyguard cheat on !

If you now target any enemy your bodyguard starts shooting him...

Note that there`s a little glitch, sometimes if your bodyguard killed a ped he stops following you and starts to make some weird looking "walking in two directions at the same time" stuff.

To make him normal again, just taget him with a weapon, like your pistol for example.

He`ll also follow you into your car if you enter one, but unfortunately he can`t make drivebys !

I`ve made him invincible by the way, so if you want to get rid of him simply press LTRIGGER+SQUARE and he`ll suicide ! suicidal.gif Lol about that.

I think that`s all you need to know, if you have any more questions about this, just ask me !

And by the way, you can also use the give weapon to ped cheats I`ve included in the file to give any other ped a weapon.

Just make sure you use this cheat then:

#cheat Infinite Ammo for Ped

setint(pped+0x5f4, 0x00ffffff);

You can also use it to give the regular gangmembers at your empire sites any weapon and then you can recruit them.

Also note that I did not create this cheat completely by myself, it`s nothing more than a simple upgrade of Durka Durka Mahns Make Ped Follow You cheat ! I just wanted to clarify this, so nobody calls me a Mod/Cheatstealer or something !

Nice, but i had to format my memory stick, to make my zombie mod, so i lost all of my cheats, and cheat device, but oh well, will try and replace the Little Willy with a jet lol.

I doubt this will work, but I don`t want to destroy your hopes...

In fact I never tried to replace car modells ! I just have the feeling it will not work, because that would be too awesome to be true!

Please don`t get me wrong, I`m not saying, that you don`t know how to do it, I just think it`s unlikely to work. dontgetit.gif
