[OBSERV] SA Characters in IV

what my idea on how you could do it
1. Delete the hand part of the CS model and replace it with IV hands
2. give it a specular and normal map to make it more real
3. also if possible probably replace the jaw from IV
4. Then finally will have to rig it
I believe this will work
if you doubt me, than it will work fine in there
i said CS because they have eye sockets and eyeballs and is midpoly and not low poly like the ingame version

they arent lowpoly thats IG models, its midpoly also if you give spec and bump maps. you wouldnt know the difference
Here i will show it
high poly with bump maps
low poly with bump map
see there isnt much difference in looks when you add a bump map

The bumpmaps for the lowpoly model are automatically calculated from the difference between the low- and highpoly models. Have fun drawing the bumpmaps by hand. It is not impossible, but i doubt you'll get acceptable results. It would be easier to completely redo the models from scratch. You won't get legal problems this way, too.

legal problems ? i aint releasing it, go get sued if you like this is for fun for me and my MSN Pals.
also even if you redo the models, you still have to make the bump map, so whats the point ?
if you know what your doing with the NVIDIA Normalmap filter then im sure I will get acceptable results

imagine, seeing niko walking by and he does a double take when he see claude speede trying to carjack unsuccessfully and niko is like, " hey............ youre doing it wrong, this is how we do it:) and he yanks a driver off a nearby ride and throws him out of the car which then niko remarks " wanna get in, ill show you other things". claude ponders for a sec, without a word being said (cmon he cant talk) and gets in the car and they both ride off into the backstreets, to begin a widespread crime spree.
or sumthing like tht.
