gamepad support afther Patch 1.0.2.0

hi guys ,
srry ift his topic is allrdy on forums , i coulndt find it.
afther installing the new patch my gamepad doesnt work anymore.
i have tryed the option R* gives in thr release notes , but no luck.
maby im not doin it right, so plz help me to get this workin again.
i made a new textfile in my gta directory.
i called it commandline.txt.
i put in the line (-usedirectinput)
have rebooted my pc and the game without the controller.
still no luck,
what am i doin wrong , plz tell me .

ok i fixed the prblem, biggrin.gif

1 just open notepad ,put in the line.. -usedirectinput
2 save file as ... commandline
3 save to main directory off gta

only thing i did wrong whas naming the file commanline.txt instead of commandline .rahkstar2.gif

thr so much crapp on the forums allrdy cool.gif

anyone know how i can remove my topic ?? hehe

Is your gamepad on the list of supported controllers?

Make sure you install the manufacturers drivers.

Also make sure the controller is plugged in and detected by the OS before starting GTA. If it becomes removed after the game has started you will have to exit the game and restart with it plugged in again for the game to recognize it.

We will be adding more controllers to the supported list in future updates.

lol yes , i played gta4 with it since i buyed it .
dual from logitech.
but problem is allrdy solved.
can you plz explain us why you couldnt support it from the patch release,and why we manual have to change this?

I was wondering why my gamepad didnt work. Thanks, this fixed it.
