Is it possible to make script to activate post processing effects without "p" pressing?

would be cool to have one of the filters from the video editor, imagine if you pressed p to cycle thru all of them o_O

What's wrong with pressing 'p' ? You only have to press it once to turn it on, and once to turn it off.
