8/10 - Excellent track. I dig Japanese city pop but also any Asian jazzy and disco, R&B grooves from the late 70's to mid 80's.

 

Here's another similar track by another female singer. I had to own the LP especially for "Exotic Yokogao" a sweet laid back mid tempo track using vocoder.

There's something oddly satisfying about 80's Japanese music. It's the type of mood music that you can play in a mall or an elevator but also bust a groove to. 8/10.

Apparently, that song was in GTA IV. Which is probably the reason i've never heard it before. 7/10

9/10 - That's is the original version by Mr Otis but its lesser known. Still brilliant, without a doubt.

 

Might as well listen to the soulful version of these funky guy's.

 

You might remember hearing it in Quentin Tarantino's 1997 movie "Jackie Brown". Well I did and had shivers in my spine.
