I really like this song from Pink Floyds album, 'Animals'. It sounds refreshingly new.

Man, I don't get why that song reminds me of Smahing Pumpkins

Anyway, that was a good one. I like the whole thing: the vibe of the song, the vocals, shoegaze, wall of swirling guitars, Rush-like basslines etc. I'll give it 8/10

Here ya' go rater

Love me some B.O.C. That should definitely be one of the more popular Blue Oyster Cult songs. 9/10

^Sorry man, I really didn't like it, 3/10.

Some more Aussie hip hop, this one was a hit a few years back, some years back haha. Same band as the last song, I was going to post their latest track that's floating all over the radio, but I figured i'd start with this, I know hip hop isn't everyone's cup of tea, but this is pretty casual rap, as all Aussie Rap is, and that's why it plays at clubs and at parties all the time because it's chilled out and you can go nuts to it with a remix.

The song tells a cool story anyway, it's interesting to listen to actually.

Awesome song, but next time make sure to post a video with good quality audio. The sound quality in that video raped my ears. 10/10

God freakin' damn! That was absolutely excellent. I just loved everything about it. Fast paced, great bass, and that snare has such a vivid punch. I've been building a playlist for GTA:V with this type of stuff and this is definitely going in. I'm turning the rating all the way to 11 for this one. Superb choice icon14.gif

Here's one by the legendary David Bowie. It's the first track of his latest album "The Next Day" and, in my opinion, one of the strongest tracks on the album. Be sure to play it loudly.

That's actually really good for pop music. Is it actually pop music? I think it is. It sounds quite original compared to most popular music. 9.5/10

It's definitely popular but I dunno if I'd call it pop. Neo-soul maybe?

Not much to it, seems like it would fit as background music in a sports highlight vid. For what it is though, I enjoyed it. 7/10

I've been listening to a bit of reggae lately. Here's Toots & The Maytals with "Revolution".

Lucky me has seen Toots a bunch of times. And when I saw him do Catfish John he gave a nice shout out to Jerry.

Quick note: There really is no need to quote the song you're rating, folks. We know it's the one above you. Also, let's go for more than just a set of numbers as a rating, tell us why you did/didn't enjoy it. If I post a song and someone gives it a low score, I want to know why and I'm sure others feel the same.

Anyway, I'll give the above song 6/10. I was pretty decent but it felt as though it needed some sort of boost, if you will. Nevertheless, it had quite a nice flow to it that kept it tight and I really appreciate that in a song.

For my choice, I'm going to go with a cheesy ballad from Mr. Collins.

^8/10. Sounded - once again - Like a tune out of Vice City, that's the sort of sound it gave off. It's a good song I thought, The tune is nice and simple, I really liked the Cymbal tapping at the end, and the addition of the "Ohhhh" vocals in unison with all the other stuff, and the singer has a nice soft voice I guess. I had mixed feelings about the guitar playing throughout the song though.

Anyway, here's something different haha, it's a combo of bird whistling among other things, I've heard it on the radio a couple times, it's a fun enough song.
Turn your stereo up really loud for this one, you'll enjoy it more, it's not as good with the bass.
