How do I mod pistol to shoot water hydrant?

I'm trying to make desert eagle to when you shoot it creates water hydrant.. I'm trying many things in weapon.xml but it seems nothing happens. please help or if you have already completed code please provide. thanks

Two things of my opinion
1: I don't believe there is any effects in the game to allow you to shoot it nor any objects to use as projectiles that would apply as a water hydrant
2: it seems you've joined just to ask this question

Fire Truck has a water gun.

well maybe my question was not right. I saw in the youtube that someone using pistol and wherever it hits, it creates water hydrant. if you search youtube water pistol you will see. and what is wrong with joining this forum to ask question? isn't this forum exist so people can ask question about modding? don't reply unless you are willing to help.

this is probably as close as it get for now, to make it shoot straight we need to edit weapon models

oh um, this above is shooting a flame, if you want to change ito your hydrant thing then just replace the muzzle fx with dir_water_hydrant

Well this could work in theory buttt here is my idea,
Find the line that makes the firetruck shoot the water out of its water-pump on the top and just change the pistol value or any other gun to use it, and it should shoot straight.
And it would be cool cause it would knock people down etc...

Tell me if this works if someone attempts at it, i have no way to look or edit code i just use mods biggrin.gif .

well I figured it out. I got it to create water hydrant on impact but projectile is grenade... wonder if i could chage that to something else. where can I find the weapon model or image list? for example assets w_grenade.

that's not whole,the lines with #aren't functional in this version and there are no models for them. just use sparkiv and look in weapons.img,those can be used. EDIT : the water hdyrant is hardcoded to fire upwards and be static,even putting it as muzzle creates static hydrant in the air.
