looks fantastic:)

EDIT: when your gonna add the road parts maybe you can make like two stokes where the tires that aren't covered in snow because of the vehicles driving on it.

Looks good icon14.gif
If you could change the tire marks to white*ish*, it would be cool.

Also, would it be possible to make a snow weather where when it snows the roads take on a different texture? Too much work?

That's a perfect start to getting an impressive mod smile.gif
You could replace the rain textures with snow flocks icon14.gif
I would really love you if you make realistic drift handling for all cars inlove.gif (not homo)

Since you're using Photoshop, try looking for a tire brush, it may come in handy wink.gif

If you need any Photoshop help, PM me.

How's this for a beginning?

(it's not the whole texture, you cut off a part of it when you posted it on the OP)
also I know it looks a little weird on the rectangle thing.

Here's a better one:

Can't wait 'till every road, grass, tree, building and car texture is altered tounge2.gif [crosses fingers]
Maybe a community effort could speed up development on this?

Sidewalk is repetative, will fix, also I need to add footstep trails and tyre trails on the road.

@jumbo0: I suggest that you use SparkIV. It opens more texture files, unlike OpenIV.

Some textures I do with Spark IV, but there are some important textures that can't be opened with Spark IV, so I need to do that with Open IV wink.gif (most of it actually)

Oh, I see.

So, what do you think of my take at it?

The road trails are a little too wide so I'll make them thinner and pray that it'll look good.

It sure looks good! wink.gif

I'm trying to make it as good as possible. (but I'm only an amateur)

I need to make it a little better because most cars are not on the right track (lol stupid pun)

Also here is the pavement:

It's a little repetitive (you can see the part next to the lamppost all over again)

Yeah, so I made a nice area around everywhere tracks should go. I haven't tested it much yet, but from the looks of it, it's gonna be nice.

I'll try it tommorow and post the results.

Non-repeating pavement!

So what do you think I should do with the road? Keep it as it's in the first pic or keep trying to get it right?

Also, I know the road's sides don't look right but I will fix that asap.

Also sorry for jacking your thread, jumbo0. If you want, I can make a new one.

Both look good but I'd say go with the first one. Second looks a little too patchy!

Really good work tho, keep it up...

Yeah, I decided to go with the first one too so I made the sides better but they still look crappy so I'll remake the whole thing.

edit:

It's too clean, isn't it?
At least the repetition looks nice.

I'll add some small snow bits here and there.
