what was included in the patch was a fix to the 'mouse acceleration/enhance pointer precision' which was being forced on

this was causing the mouse to be overly sensitive to us gamers with good mouses. but if you still have it turned on in windows, it's likely your bowling issue still exists. what you can do is remove mouse acceleration by>

(for XP) Control Panel --> Mouse --> Pointer Options and untick 'Enhance pointer precision'

note: this should also be the same procedure as for Vista.

your mouse will probably feel weird after changing the setting, because your brain is used to moving the cursor based on the speed your mouse is being moved at..

thanks for that info. I will try this because i still can't play bowling after the patch.

No issues with bowling here.

well, I have no idea what it's supposed to feel like
but as far as I know, it works great for me.
