Hats off to you, I will definatley one of those that need your help. Even if you increase my game in one FPS it will be worth it.

He's trying to help the community by making a utility that would make it easy for people to edit graphic settings on their game. He wants advice on what to add and wants to let people know the progress he is making. What's wrong with that? I commend him for it, that's awesome. As I said before, this is exactly the reason I love PC Gaming. You can't do this stuff on a console.
The point was made...
What is different about this, than making command adjustmenst yourself?
The author has not made any mention of the purpose, features, projections etc. of this program; rather he's plopped down a screenshot, that shows 95% features we already have access to, and then a few cryptic ones like 'embed,' without any explination.
Furthering that, a little GUI interface like this, is not going to change the way GTA IV views hardware, nor how it attempts to auto-scale performance/resources.
This is just a bad presentation all around, and is already misleading people as we've had a few think that their texture problem is going to be fixed? By this? Hardly.
