I'm interesting to, any news about creating 3d max importer for wdd files (with weight data)? Maybe exporter for spark IV into the smd/psk/md5mesh/fbx?

IV coders never got their sh*t together and there isnt an importer or exporter for max. Better luck with gtaV maybe.

Just follow OpenIV and GIMS topics. There soon will be openFormats for WDR and WDD with skinning support.
