Overclocking good/bad?

I was just wondering if overclocking will make things better... or worse... post your opinions pls smile.gif

It can be good for performance but bad for life and temperature of the card if overlocked to high

Some will say NO its dangerous, but ask some proffesionals on some proper tech forums, they will help you and tell you the truth.


EDIT* As for GFX card OC I have never tried that so I can't say, I have only dabbled with memory and CPU

I'm not talking about card overclocking... i'm talking about CPU and Memory smile.gif

I OC'd my Q6600 to 3.2 from 2.4 over the weekend. Ran stress testing for 23 hours and decided it was stable. I don't worry about the temperatures since I like my window open and it's cold outside.
