Kind of baffling without any background; I'll leave it in spoilers for people who want to dive in without context.

Nascar announces their ruling on the Richmond race fiasco. How do Jeff Gordan fans feel about it?
Well, the fact you called him Gordan doesn't help my mood...
That race was a complete load of horsesh*t. I can't believe how small a punishment that team received. Bowyer basically was given a finger wag, end of punishment. He didn't lose a single championship point, and somehow is still allowed to run in the chase. Bullcrap. The evidence against MWR is coming in from all directions, and all that Helton can say about it is "There's not conclusive evidence that the 15 spin was intentional."
Well, MWR needed to do something in order to set their plan in motion, what better way to do it than slow down until you get close to another car, then swing the car around and say you were getting a flat tire, as well as blaming the guy behind you...
Helton said that because of a "ripple effect" they couldn't tell if what MWR did had an effect on Gordon, which is why they chose the penalties they did. But my issue is, with all the dumb sh*t MWR did, only 50 points for Bowyer? Why not 100 or more? When Gordon intentionally spun Bowyer at Phoenix last year, he was given 100 points. Both of these incidents have a direct effect on the entire outcome of the season. Why a less drastic penalty this time around for Bowyer? 100 points (a fair amount for such an outward act of cheating) would put him out of the Chase, where he belongs, and would put Gordon in, where he belongs.
Another solution I thought of, even without penalties, would be to call the Richmond race official at 393 laps, as everything during the last 7 laps was directly affected by MWR's actions, was well as NASCAR's inactions in regards to Carl Edwards jumping the restart clear as day. The entire end of the race was completely out of order, and honestly should not be counted.
