Hi,

Just wondering if the patch rockstar is releasing will fix the framerate problem, i didnt see it listed on the front page confused.gif I downloaded the Nvidia driver, but it didn't seem to help at all.

this is what i get in a benchmark

2008-12-07 14:01:50 - GTAIV
Frames: 6308 - Time: 225333ms - Avg: 27.994 - Min: 17 - Max: 41 (the 41 is where i was standing still in a backalley or something. normally it's between 24-30)

my specs:

Intel Core2Duo e7200 2,5GHz
Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX 512mb
4GB ram
Windows XP Professional SP3

graphic settings:

resolution: 1680x1050 (60 Hz)
texture quality: low
render quality: low
view distance: 10
detail distance: 10

it runs really sucky and unacceptable.

my specs i have the same ram but i have a quad at 2.4 and a 4850 which is overclocked but are computers are similar and i am gettings 32 FPS avg with 3x the graphics or more

its not your setup for sure definitely the game i think it has a mind of its own and just chooses to play on some and not on others, try not to panic should get fixed hopefully
