I am not sure, where to post, but anyone knows where I can get a main.scm for GTA SA without missions but with other things, like external scrpits, gangs territories and etc..
I searched for it, and there was one topic like this someone even had the main.scm that I need, but the link doesn't work anymore.

can any1 make a simple cleo script that connects the zombo tech to the underground army base in the desert?
like a yellow pointer infront the zombielab orso in the zombotech building and if u step on it u will be teleported to the underground army base in the desert ( so called area 51 orso ) ?

"Cesar decided to finish the war in Los Santos with Vagos, so he wanted to attack their turfs. Cesar asks you to help him, but in that moment Sweet call you and told you that Grove are under attack by Ballas. You will go and kill those Ballas, while Cesar go and kill Vagos in Los Flores, where the war must have location. After you kill the Ballas, you are called by Cesar to come quickly at their war with Vagos and close the phone immediately. When you go here, a cutscene will make apperance where is shown that a Vagos kills Cesar. You are going to him, but he dies. You will call Sweet and he will come to the war with some Grove Street members, you will kill all Vagos and a cutscene will come here: Aztecas request you as their leader, to substitute Cesar death. You will accept and you will control Aztecas, they will be friendly with Grove and you can conquer turfs just for Aztecas."


Can someone make this mission pls pls pls pls?!?!?

Can someone create CLEO script that allows you to use sub-missions (like firefighter, police or taxi) on new, custom-added vehicles?

According to ZAZ it is possible, but requires a lot of skills, time and patience. It's going to be used in my TC project that I've been working on for past 2 (and a half) years.

I think it would be better to be in a SCM too. But would requiere time... But cant we just add a new car in the check of the normal submision? Or dosnt i towrk like that? Checks what car is the player driving?

Because I use standard main.scm with 97 CLEO mods. That way the gameplay is changed, while SA storyline and savegames are original.

From the technical point of view it's not a real TC - but like I said, there are plenty of *.CS and *.CM changing the game.
If it wasn't CLEO3, those mods would be in main.scm, and that would be considered as "real" TC project.

But unbelievably it does work most of the time, even though 15% of cleo mods are always active.
I've also added (not replaced) over 270 new vehicles (aprox.) and I'm using ENB Series for all available effects, except motion blur.

Yes, your right, you can. The sub-mission script contains the sub-mission data, however, the starter of the sub-mission contains what car the mission is started with, like you thought. This was the original idea ZAZ stated in his topic.

Additional, yeah it's possible for them to be converted to a CLEO mission, but however the timers of them sub-missions, must use global variables(however I know a way to do it a different way using memory hacking). Yes, it requires a lot of skill, those sub-missions use a lot of math, to get random spawn in a place, but it's not so difficult in fact. Personally I do not find math coding difficult, the only thing which I don't like is the time it takes to convert these sub-missions.

The limit of adding new cars, is very limited, the game engine can not handle much more then the original amount, as I have noticed will looking at it. Even, if the limit amount is hacked, your game should be very slow, or crash as it now has around 500 vehicles(approx). You do mean you have a total of all the cars in game put together = 270(approx), or do you mean that you
added 270 as well as the over 200 vehicles already in the game? (If it's the second, I am very surprised).

211 meaning the number of vehicles which comes with the normal un-modded game. And 270 meaning the number of cars you personally added to the game.

Okay.

So anyway to get back to the real topic, the main reason we think it should be done, by main.scm,

is the global vars ($) when these are used in a CLEO script/mission they can make crashes, and bugs,
one reason is because a custom added var for example ($Car) this may look like it's read by the game as that, but actually it ant.
It could have same meaning to the game engine as one in the main.scm(I can not explain, well what I mean).

An important thing concerns with data communication between a CLEO script and the main.scm. To use the SCM code, its variables, threads you have to compile the CLEO script as an external one (first way). But this method is not recommended, as such a script becomes very sensible to the any main.scm change. Implicitly, a CLEO script should be sufficient for itself and use minimum of the SCM data.

You can use them above^ and, you can also use the ones which Seemann said in; CustomVaribles.ini

In other words, this should be created for SCM rather than CLEO.
If that's the case, I give up sad.gif Adding taxi & police support for 7 cars isn't worth starting the new game.

BTW, I wouldn't post request in this topic if I knew all this coding stuff. I'm only good at basic things like converting SCM mission into CLEO, parked car coordinates and adding special actors.

Well, no... Possibly if you make a start pack in CLEO, which is easy, and start the sub-missions you want directly from the main.scm. Just a simple script, if your driving whatever vehicles you wanted for the sub-missions, then start it directly through the main.scm.

Because if we do it that way, we will not have to edit the mission(s) itself, just start the main.scm sub-mission using a small CLEO script. Like for example do a simple script, if player is driving the vehicle you want, then start the mission which is in the main.scm. However there is still one global var which bover's me($ONMISSION_TAXI). But sometimes you just have no option to use one..

Like for example at a certain time a car is created and drives to a point then a ped is spawned and if the car isn't destroyed more peds will spawn. Is that a better description? I have tried but I was hoping for someone to show a example of what I mean.

Few months ago, I've created new texture for Darecki's speedometer mod, including new features like nitro & lights indicator. Since he never updated his mod, this stuff is useless and just taking space. confused.gif My request is: Can someone please create CLEO speedometer script for me?

These are my textures:

I have a request. Could someone do me a big favour?

I have searched a lot of forums for a modification of my request...found nothing good!

So, here it is:

Can someone edit the original main.scm by adding the following stuff?

Add an andromada at the LV airport

Add an FBI-Truck and a SWAT-Van at the Pershing Square in LS (somewhere in the back of the police station, maybe the garage of the police station)

Fix the Madd Dogg Savehouse Bug (to prevent gym & basketball glitch) by moving the save-disk icon a bit

That's it! I guess, there would be a lot more people wishing something like that.

DON'T WANT IT AS CLEO! Please as a edited main.scm! Thank you in advance.

Speedometer needs to figure out the texture size for displaying and position for the pointer

In addition, please do a little more effort and post the coords and angle for the vehicles.
x,y,z coords and z_angle

for your gym & basketball glitch you must explain more.
In original is no gym & basketball at maddoggs
I think you placed by IPL the BBALLNET and gymbench at maddoggs to near by the savedisk

In case of public release, I'm willing to share credits with script writer. However, maybe it would be easier to create "private" version since the "public" one takes more time (readme instructions, credits, mod approval, ...), and I'm busy with other stuff anyway.

As for the TXD, all textures are separated. Those 2 pictures above are promotional smile.gif

@ ZAZ: Of course, I know that I have to start a new game, doesn't matter for me.

I guess, you know the bug after saving in madd dogg's crib, that you cannot use the gym for a long time and that the basketballs are "banned" from the game forever. That depends on the place of the save icon in the crib. It is nearly exact above the "gym instruments" downstairs.

So, if you can move the save-disk-icon a bit to the side, the problem should be solved.

What the places for the cars belongs...just put them in the garage of the police station at the Pershing Square in LS. That's enough for me, so choose yourself where you want to put it. Same for the andromada, somewhere on the LV airport.

Could you do that, ZAZ? Very nice! Would like that so much.
