The USA Today has some exclusive details on the first episodic content for Grand Theft Auto IV

    * The episode will be named "The Lost and Damned"
    * You will play as Johnny Klebitz, a member of the biker gang The Lost
    * Niko will have a small part
    * No final price yet

A couple of quotes by Dan Houser

"Johnny is a very different character than Niko, with a very different background," says Dan Houser, vice president of creative development for Rockstar Games. "I can't go into too much detail on the story, because we try not to give away too much plot before the game is released. But I can say that the story will show you a different side of Liberty City."

"The story is not directly impacted by decisions you took in the main game, tons of details and mysteries from the main story get explained, so it will add a lot of color to the main story."

"We feel like we've only scratched the surface in terms of the depth and detail in Liberty City."

I wonder if there'll be new clothing released, specifically for Johnny.

Nice work as always, AJ.

Johnny is the Biker who appears in Blow Your Cover and Museam Piece. Both times important deals f*ck up and after the Museam Piece mission he is never seen again. It will definatly be interesting. Thanks a lot for the link and info gamerzworld!

This guy is Johnny.

Wow, not exactly what I expected, but should be pretty good, what with the expanded story.

Not going to make me buy a 360, though.

I think that he will make an interesting character. Interesting to play as a crazy biker type.
Still it will suck if they don't add some more activities to go with the new story.

I always liked Johnny. He seemed like a cool unknown type of character that seems like would of had a interesting background or story. Glad they went this route.. but I own a PS3 who knows what we'll get

I don't get it. I thought the story would follow up from Niko? Will we still be able to play with Niko?

Sorry...

Doesnt sound all that great...

I know they havent released full details. But why make a new story as the download?

Did they not like Niko's story? Why go off on something totally different when Niko was your MC? Sound like R* is second guessing themselves. Without something new to do, I will not buy it.

I dont want to play the same crap missions where you have to follow someone around and kill them, or bust into a crack lab and kill everyone. I did all that sh*t with Niko. Why would I want to do the same boring crap with "Johnny"?

Sounds pretty gay.

This is actually got me wondering the same thing. I was hoping that we could play as Niko and take down Bulgarin. Unless that's saved for the second DLC pack.

Look I agree it does sound a bit "that's what we've waited for?" but we haven't got many details so I'd hold out before condemning this.

Also, is this definately the 360 only content? It doesn't say anywhere on the article that its just for the Xbox...?

And how will they implement changing chracters if you want to...?

A walk in cursor like wardrobe, but you choose your chracter instead, opening up a different set of map activities? That would be cool.

That's a good question, they even have both the PS3 and 360 versions in the photo. Hmm I am a bit skeptical about this. confused.gif

Remember, Johnny, in Museum Piece escapes with the Pegs money after the dominican ambush and ray sends you on a retaliation mission against the Lost in "No Way on the Subway" looking for Johnny and then to Kill Isaac the Diamond Dealer in "Late Check-out" for taking the diamonds, which by that time had been forcibly re-acquired by Tony Prince. Maury Escapes.. Maybe the story is set parallel to Niko's during the same time-frame and you see major events in the story revolving around blow your cover & museum piece from Johnny's perspective. The Biker war, and Pegorino getback being the key themes. Johnny could quite easily tie-in a lot of existing characters during the Niko cannon from Elizateba, Manny, Mallorie & Packie to Ray and Phil.

Edit: How could I forget "Taking in the Trash". The Lost end up taking the fall for Luka and Tuna.

Awsome to finally hear something about the DLC...

I think It sound great...And we really aint given alot of info, so anyone complaining right now are prob. just PS3 fanboys...Or plain haters mad.gif

I think R* is listening to what the community are saying and I think itīs a good chanse they will loosen up Liberty city and maybe even give us the fingerless gloves...and maybe some solid traces of the ratman.... rolleyes.gif

Anyhow...Great to finally have a date to look forward to, I will with no doubt buy this and make all my friends buy It also...anything else would be blasphemy.

Sad, I have a ps3 so no dlc... Guess we'll just have to wait. I wonder what else will be in the dlc besides missions.... Oh yeah, when you download the dlc how do you become Johnny? How do you switch between Niko and Johnny? Sorry, this is my first time owning a ps3 game and I hever had a game with extra dlc except patches for cod4 on pc.
