What makes yours official?

Just cause you say so? The other one is much better organized & has more gangs signed up for it.

What about VC:MP? And exactly what type of matches are going to be played on each game? And how many people on teams being as a lot of gangs have different numbers. And when is this all going to come together, incase it works out? And what about the point system, do teams still get points if they lose by a certain amount or what?
There just doesn't seem that much thought/effort put into this second topic of the Gang Olympics.

Every event that your Gang wins, you get a certain amount of points

at the end the gang with the most points wins

And I forgot VCMP, plus they will be squads of 6

And Phusian's tournament is his and this is the tournament for the Gnang Olympics, in no way related

Both are UNOFFICIAL as they aren't endorsed by the staff.
Honestly, that one is more well organized. You need to put in more effort into organizing a tourney. You can't expect to attract people to the tournament with just a suggestive post. Come on, you had your chance. smile.gif
Perhaps you could organize tournament later, but now, 2 tourneys are too confusing.

How many points do you get if gangs win? And I think 6 players is a high number, only because I'm sure there are a lot of gangs that wouldn't be able to get that amount at short notice, or even if matches are planned out ahead of time, I know that real life duties usually make a few people not show up.

What kind of games are going to be played on SA:MP,IV, and the others ( Sorry I forgot the other games ) like on IV there's different kind of matches and like the olympics, not every gang is going to want to play in certain matches. Plus with the different platforms does that mean gangs with both active members in PS3 and PC get more points just because they have more members or what?

Like I said theres a lot of things that would have to be well thought out and sorted out before I think this kind of thing could go anywhere.

The abbreviation "GSUOOGCT" perhaps? tounge.gif
... nah, I'll prefer the full name over that.

Koik: It was getting nowhere. Just take a look at the topic.

I just think maybe it should be more thought out, because it would of given a better chance at gangs wanting to join and would of saved time and got the ball moving sooner. But it looks like the other torny topic got the ball moving sooner than you.

Judging by the amount of gangs that have registered for yours, I think you should just stop being childish. As I've said, Bocabay originally posted his online tournament idea, and I've taken that put it into action.

What makes you think so? If you manage to get the ball rolling, people will join. Set up events that captivate their interests. Nothing much happens in this forum, it won't be hard setting up a tournament later. Granted, there have been tournament topics before, which have died off quickly, but the current Gang Tournament seems to work. Lets stick to that.

I think that we should merge the topics and have one tournament, but Phusian is refusing.

What does GTAF think?

But points mean nothing. And the whole point system would be stupid when his torny is a straight up knockout.

Lock this topic, forget it ever existed, and play nicely with people you'll never meet in real life and whose decisions on a friggin internet forum should not insight petty sh*t like this.

I dont think you understand that the point system goes with every event. and at the end of the olympics the gang with the most points wins

I understand that, hell a 2 year old understands that. I dont think you understand that its a knockout torny, in which points would be stupid because you either win and stay in another round, or you lose ( maybe have another game ) and get kicked out of the torny. Its like last man standing, compared to most points win.
