I figure this has been posted before, with another topic suggested
But, many suggest breakfast habits have changed, I love pancakes/flapjacks, bacon and Eggs, namely at the Perkins Restaurant here in the Midwest. Wondering, though...an old favourite of our family's was "Graham Cracker Mush", what that entails is simply crumbling graham crackers in a bowl and pouring some milk on them.

I just got into eating this again, it's somewhat less costly then other branded cold cereals.
Anyway, how common is that, I wonder?

What is your main get-me-up in the morning, these days?

Lots of oatmeal.
I made the best gosh-darned fried rice I've ever eaten, and I've eaten a lot of fried rice.
Lightly scrambled egg in olive oil, black pepper, half cup cooked white rice, some more olive oil, medium-high heat, stir stir stir, soy sauce to taste, stir stir stir, cooked pork roast strips, stir stir stir, half tablespoon butter, voila!

I can name a few Indian dishes, but no one would understand so it's just the plain old coffee for me. I like it strong.

Problem I have with boxed cereal, and some like Malt-O-Meal in big bags, is all the stuff out now is EXTRA crunchy to stay crisp in milk I assume, but it's just far too hard, and it is a pain to eat.

I like the original LIFE cereal the most right now, there's nothing that's the same as that one.

It's just gone three in the afternoon and I'm just about to eat my brekfast. About eight bacon rashers and four poached eggs, I'm considering throwing some baked beans on there and making a meal out of it.

I'd be ashamed at myself for waking up so late if I new what day it was.

I usually don't eat in the mornings, at least not right away. Most of the time I just skip straight to a lunch type food, about 3-4 hours after I get up.
If I do eat, it's usually cereal and on occasion oatmeal.

My most ideal breakfast is a ham and cheese omelet with some buttered toast and a good cup of juice. MMMmmmmmmm.

All the cool kids use the Kellogg's Variety packs to make their own cereal cool.gif Might I suggest Coco Pops and Frosties?

Agreeing with the coffee too.

In between jobs, I also have breakfast and go to sleep. It's better to not sleep on an empty stomach.
I also recommend those Carnation Instint Breakfast Bars, if you're neglecting your first thing in the morn meal! haha colgate.gif

Weetabix; but only because I now have to wear a 'Retainer Brace', and Weetabix is one of the foods that is soft enough to eat for breakfast. suicidal.gif

Although I do like Weetabix, but I usually have Toast with Marmite.

I've had one quite a while now; but I was allowed to take it out. But I know have one for both the upper and lower set of teeth, and must leave it.

Although I take it out when I'm out, 'cause if I don't, the food stuck in the brace will stink my mouth out. Bread's the worst as it smells like fish pie; and I hate fish pie! breadfish_by_Moto.gif

Sorry for going off-topic; just thought I'd give elanman the birds and the bees about my brace biggrin.gif .

I don't usually eat breakfast during work days because i don't get up early enough, i'd rather have the extra time in bed than eat tounge.gif .

When i do have breakfast i eat whatever we have in the cupboard.

Cornflakes, Frosties, Nesquik, Asda's own shredded wheat, Sugar Puffs, Wheetos, crumpets or muffins.

I've got a big Kellogg's football bowl that was on offer when you bought a big box of Cornflakes or Frosties cool.gif .

I used to love bagels with cream cheese, but now it's all about the jam.

A toasted bagel with some nice butter and jelly jam is amazing.
I didn't have time to eat this morning as I was running late, but I really missed my jam bagel.

I'll put some ham in bread, grate some cheese over it then fold it over, microwave it for 30 seconds inlove.gif Then I'll have a cup of hot chocolate. Then half an hour later an energy drink on the way to school.
