It's time to choose some licensed tracks or stations, and perhaps add data that Rockstar divulges as months lead to release.
Perhaps no mis-informed Wiki this time???

My pick, A Rolling Stones song of some sort.
Possibly Led Zeppelin?
A station of 70s AOR?

The issue I see here is that the limited space a DS cartridge holds will limit or may even exclude proper radio stations with music. A DS cartridge holds around 256MB at most with most rarely reaching 64MB.

Does anyone remember if GTA Advance had any radio stations or music?

Maybe they'll settle for original scoring, but in this case, it would possibly include genres?

It is a shame considering what PSP offered, I think they did a fantastic job on the Stories games with regard to radio....despite the humor hiccups (some not so funny, but more odd moments)

Im sure they will have radio stations, It would be cool if the Chinatown Wars was a flashcart, then you make your own radio like on the psp.....

I expect CtW to have about 5 or 6 stations. I know there will be a techno-rave station. They got to have that one!

Oh yea and a Wu Tang station hosted by the RZA! He is a an actor btw. That plays all of Wu Tangs greatest hits, similar to Liberty Jam that Toni listens to.

I just wonder that with the Guitar Hero game recently released for the DS and it's 26 songs, will this number (or near to it) be the limit for the songs they can fit onto the games radio stations?

Too bad the quality is god-awful on Guitar Hero, I mean sound quality that is.

Now when you say awful, are you talking hardware speakers or the sound via headphones or ext. as well?

I'd say the stations would have to be the most popular formats, unlike some of the ever changing genres of the full series. I am afraid it'll be a much less rewarding experience then the PSP onces, and many only played those on the PS2.

I believe the racing games and Madden are in 3D so I think it will be 3D no question.

I found an online resource for semi-pro Midi "covers" of famous tunes, among them Come Sail Away by Styx and "Aqualung" by Jethro Tull.
Even some great Pink Floyd stuff

The funny thing about Midi musician files, is you are CHARGED for the more professional versions, but there is little to really discern what the difference is! I've heard some pretty good ones, it may come down to what was available equipment wise, vs talant.
Regardless, I hope they can manage actual stereo music
