Wasn't that Nickelodeon? I loved Hey Arnold.
That was probably the best cartoon ever.

I loved Ed, Edd, and Eddy, though. Also up there...Same with Courage. The Flan episode freaked me out, though.

But those things are/look delicious. I too, would fall under a globalized spell.

I still say they should air Pokemon Season 1 - 9. I loved Pokemon until the 2nd series. My god. Pokemon Advanced and all that sh*t ruined it. On my Foxtel atm. I have a series link of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl recorded...I'm gonna see how schit this is...PL0X LET THERE BE SQUIRTLE

But i'd be just as happy if they put Pokemon Season 1-9 on Boomerang.

I used to watch Cartoon Network back when it was good. I remember at night, before Adult Swim, I would watch Looney Toons and Courage the Cowardly Dog on my grandpa's TV. I liked basically all the shows that listed, especially Ed, Edd and Eddy. Now, I only watch CN for Tom and Jerry, Courage reruns, and Chowder.

Somehow the topics implied in today's cartoon are a little bit more toned down for the new generation..

The older cartoons dealt with slapstick comedy and some other issues regarding flaws and mistakes.

I observed some of the kids today and well, they're a little more childish in trends.

Me, I stopped watching cartoons all day when I was and sixth grade, now I watched for about, 2 hours a day. The kids I observed in sixth grade we're still talking about toys and cartoons while when I was that age we were talking about girls and more private things in life.

OT: I loved Cow & Chicken, it says IDIOTS all over it; but with some moral lessons in the end. Rocko's Modern Life was good too, Heffer & Spunky were my favorite characters.

I still find Chowder quite humorous when my little brother watches it. Cartoon Network still has decent shows, it's Disney and Nickelodeon that changed for the worst.

Swat Kats, Popeye, Courage, The Roadrunner Show, Heidi, Tom & Jerry... oh boy, brings back such good memories of my childhood. I used to come home from school and stick my ass in front of the TV for a good 2-3 hours at a stretch.

Coincidentally, I stopped watching the channel since they changed their logo. Worst part is that they switched to regional languages over here. I just couldn't stand watching all the shows that I loved being horribly dubbed in Hindi. It wasn't funny anymore. I literally haven't turned on the channel since then.

It went wrong with Courage, Cow and Chicken and Ed, Edd and Eddie? Are you insane? It went wrong when it started airing non-cartoon shows. I also don't put Cartoon Network and Adult Swim in the same category, just the same channel.

Believe it or not, you're not their core audience. If you want those shows, go watch Noggin (they usually have Batman, Superman, and Ironman aired in a row). Some of those shows you miss were sweet, but series end, and new shows replace them. Plus, Foster's is great show, even if most of the others on the air right now suck.

I think the problem is that thew new shows just aren't that great. Most of them seem to be focused on being random and stupid, or try way too hard to appeal to an older crowd and jam in tons of 4:20 clocks or "sly" references that just make it more pathetic.
