Anyone bought 'The Mail On Sunday' today?
You would of noticed the free album from Mcfly.

Why have they done this? rather than sell it.

(No Mcfly bashing)

I think their appeal is waning, well, it is for their pop image anyway.
They seem to be trying to reinvent themselves as punks, and by giving out an album for free, it shows everbody the new Mcfly.
When they get the fans back on board, they'll start selling them again.

Never listened to Mcfly (although I am a big BTTF Fan), but some bands like Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead have released their newer work free on bittorrent websites. Good for them.

Just read the back of the album.

At the bottom it says.

'Deluxe Album out this september'
