I voted for San Andreas, since how big the city is. tounge2.gif

Chicago. Lots of chances to have old Italian mobs, and some fun places to see.

Have it GTA 2 style.

Name the city and name the year but it should be set in the future 2010?

Why the hell does it have to be San Andreas?

Why can't GTA:Next be in Los Santos only? or San Fierro? or Las Venturas? right there we have three games already bored.gif

I hope for San Andreas. But I have a feeling they will do a totally new city.

Because that would be moronic.

You cant get better than a modern day London. It has everything you could want, and especially now that the crime is over the top once again.

Care to explain why? instead of having three incomplete and tiny cities you could have an incredibly open city for each representation with lots of trademark spots and even better architecture.

Although London wouldn't be a bad idea i wonder how will the satire of american culture will fit in there?

Vice City, considering the sequence in the GTA III Trilogy. A return to Vice City would be good, set in the present time.

I agree with this guy.

I would love to see them try somewhere different and we'll all get the hints dropped that it will be somewhere else, but then they'll do what they did with IV and go back to the beginning again (3D variants of GTA that is). I'd like to see it being Bogota, but no doubt it won't be or even Tokyo but then again it won't be and besides the Japanese don't really play GTA compared to other countries.

But really I don't give two hoots until they release GTAIV for the PC... Job Knockys.

Why would you want one small city when you could have the whole freaking state?

Bigger isn't always better. wink.gif (Well, only in one case.)

In my eyes, a really detailed and polished SMALLER city is much better than having a half-assed, less featured/nice looking bigger city. If they don't have a massive load to work with, it makes room for the features that we as GTA fans want in the game.

San Andreas , GTA is based on American Culture so no London, no offence... So they made a remake of Liberty City 3 times now and San Andreas only once, VC twice... It's San Andreas' time to shine now!

Great minds think alike. +1

You do know that Liberty City was almost as big as SA? and what's the big deal about a whole state which is composed 60% of useless land?

I liked that 'useless' land, it gives you some place to mess around in and just kinda chill.

I voted for Vice City.

But I would like to see it in Las Venturas; Just look at how awesome Star Junction is - LV is basically a city wide Star Junction. Plus I was looking at some pics etc, for places in Nevada like Reno and Lake Tahoe - they're amazing! Just imagine, the state of Nevada as a location!

I prefer the resources of the developers were invested in something more fun, not now, and i don't think in the next 10 years we'll achieve a fully sized state, but a city, that's possible, and that should be the focus at least.

Yeah, I would like LS and LV to be replaced by useful countryside. I too hate those cities!

Tokyo or Futuristic-esque would work well, I think.
Although I hope for London, it is very doubtable. Again, wouldn't suprise me if it were a revisited location.

It's a possibility that R* will set the game in the U.S again, but I doubt it.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but Houser himself said american culture was ripe for parody, so you can expect US cities for the next games.

I'd like Vice City, but I feel that it should be expanded on, For example near the real Miami, there is a hell of a load of swampland, How cool would it be to be running away from the country police through thick swamp laced with crocodiles!

But apart from VC I think that the next GTA should Incoprorate 3 Islands again each from a different city around the world E.G, London, Sydney and Rio De Janiro, that would incorporate 3 different world cultures which would be awesome, Travelling from the bleak and dreary london, to a sunny tropical rio de janiro. Having a huge jungle around as well, would be cool, you could stick in some guerrlias that attack you whenever you go near them.

Well thats my 2 cents anyway.

Don't think I'm the only one to agree with this. While the best part of the countryside and desert didn't serve much of a purpose, it gave for more exploration and 'things to do'. Taking a bike down Mt. Chilliad is THE funnest thing in SA.

"Try again later"

Well, looks like I'm going to have to guess it myself. I really have no idea but I think they'll probably do another American city or state. They may even return to Vice City, which I would love but I'm not sure if they'd want to do the same "scarface" theme again.

Come to think about it, I think the best option would be to start fresh and create a city they have never done before. Maybe even take it outside the country; Tokyo or London?

I'm kind of rambling now, mainly because I have no idea what Rockstar will do next. Which is a good thing - I like surprises.

Eventually a revamped Vice City, with a more realistic approach to the modern Miami. Will be good, nonetheless. I also don't know why, everytime I think about a new Miami in GTA, I start thinking about that intro on Guns N'Roses' "You could be mine".

I haven't voted the poll yet, I would choose SA on the list though. But, you got to put Carcer City on the poll, it's a fictional city created by R*. If you add Carcer City I'll vote Carcer City. If not, then I'll vote SA, so please put Carcer City on the poll.
