I used to really get the sh*ts when I played Madden. Like, if I had a big play coming up, or I'd just lost the lead or something, I was just an asshole. It caused thousands of arguments between me and my parents or siblings. I was about 13 or 14 at the time.
I still get pumped when I score a goal on FIFA, but not so much as I used to. Unless it's a big game or something. But I noticed that the thrill of winning on the game is nowhere near as acute as the feeling of losing. That is, if you win, it never tended to change my mood as much, but if I lost, I'd get really sh*tty.
I went through a stage where I spent every waking moment away from school and sport on a console or computer game, and I literally was addicted to them.
The thing that most sh*ts me off (still does), is when you tell the game to do something, and it doesn't do it, or does something else.
