That is my old system. I still use it for older titles, storage etc. But I recently moved it to my country house. I used to overclock that Q6600 to 3.6ghz with ease.
Had mine on 3.4 on air on the same board--I must've had the GO version, since it was a very reliable overclocker. I've had my i5 for a year now and still haven't overclocked it--it was a lot easier with the FSB.
Indi: don't really see the need in you upgrading, to be honest. I'd just install a better cooler and see about some overclocking. The argument that PC gamers need to constantly upgrade is just untrue; I've had my GTX 260 for three years and it stills runs all games acceptably at 1080 progressive.
