NO WARS PLEASE!!!

I notice on my new PS-3 that I get some significant frame hits during the worst times....like big shootouts and stuff.

For those that own both systems....

I know the X-Box gets better frames but is it something that you really notice?

I have the option to trade to a X-Box and frames are really important to me.

I've always said you only really notice a difference between the two in a side-by-side comparison. However that was based of sharpness, colors and the general look of the game. In terms of framerates, if you really do have an eye for such things - yes, the Xbox360 is noticably [if only a little] better.

After I play more of my PS3 version I'll give you a proper comparison.

There's a trade-off for everything. With a slightly more consistent framerate you'll also get slightly more pop-in. For me, the pop-in is more annoying than a chance to breath during a massive shootout.

I really haven't seen this myself - but it's a fair comment to make as I've seen others (who also own both consoles) comment on this before. I believe it has to do with what DVD drive is in your Xbox as well as what "year" it's made.

i own the game on the 360, but ive put time on the ps3 version as well.

both versions of the game have suffering framerates when the action starts to get intense. whatever difference there may be between platforms, it doesnt matter because the difference is nothing worth writing about. i.e. they both suck.
