Do you think that R* have left out clothes and other features e.g. Modifying your car etc so that we will have to pay for them when released in DLC so that R* can make a few extra bucks?

Thoughts.

I think there were a couple things that went into the decision.

A. The disc size was too small for them too add more stuff in( I do believe it had near the max a 360 disc could have)

B. They did not have enough time to fix all the bugs in those things, so they just cut them out.

C. Money talks.

D. What the guy above me said.

I have no clue if any of those are true at all, I guess we will find out when we get DLC.

If they just add it in the DLC then they know they will get people to buy it.
Its a great marketing tactic.

Abit like when they released GTA IV on the consoles first.
Its so that Sony / Microsoft make more console sales but then It will come on PC and be 5x better depending on your rig.

I can't see how they 'removed' anything, it was never there to begin with. confused.gif It's a whole new game engine, it's like how GTA3 was built up from scratch on a new engine and stuff added as it progressed. It will be the same here.

I think they removed it on purpose so they make more money in DLC.
I bet you in the new DLC they will be more clothes etc.
They see dollar signs.

Its like when Simon Cowell sees a fantastic young singer.
All he sees is dollar signs.

Mostly B. The next game they will give themselves ample time to make a superior game.

Like I said they didn't REMOVE it. It wasn't there to start with, it just wasn't added, it will be as the series progresses or as you said in the DLC.

Yeah but if they had taken more time with the game.
It wouldnt take more than 1-2 months.
They have no excuse.
I am not saying IV is a bad game because its Fantastic.

I just believe they was room for more clothing / vehicles.

I actually don't know if i'll be ready for another game. considering the story line was so good for IV, the story line would be expected to be even better with the next game, considering all everyone ever does is just expect more from R*.

Anyway, to be more on topic, I don't think they 'removed' features because of DLC, as Microsoft most likely would've paid for exclusivity anyway, due to the massive hype for the game, and it could also sell more consels. Unless MS struck the deal with R* before the game was released, and said "take this stuff out, and throw it in with DLC, and we'll add an extra 10million to the contract", i really doubt R* took it out cause of DLC. Although the content may come out in DLC, i don't think it was the cause for it being missing.

I'd have to agree with Opiteilsm.
