There's one thing I noticed yesterday which isn't on the list here that would probably come under real-life references.
I found a sign near a jetty that said "No wading, no swimming, no speedos"
I'll try to find get a pic of it tomorrow.

I beleive there was a mission called
"Final Destination" which is obviously named after the film.
Also "Eugenics" Eugenics was featured in the film "The Island" wink.gif

Question, in the second Eddie Low mission, if you disarm him and he runs away it says that: Eddie Low is still out there...waiting.
Does this have any effect on the game or is it simply a statement that you have failed the mission?

In strip club there are signs thats says COUNTS, but the O is lightly shaded hardly to see and the other letters are bolded, funny, is that an Easter Egg?
BTW thats the Bohan Strip club, one sign of it infront on the walla before you enter and one inside the private room.

Also in Bohan there is an Avenue called Coxsack Ave
Lol.

If you go the park where you encountered the drunk Mcreary brother on the bench, there is another baby stroller near the basketball court.

I have found two more as well, behind the projects by the Plumbers Skyway onramp in South Alderney.

And something I haven't seen mentioned:
The clocktower sign says c l ocktower when illuminated, and a sign in outlook says or i l e y s pub when illuminated.

Fred Armisen of "Saturday Night Live" provides the voice of a hot dog vender

That's a lot of pages to read and didn't find on the first post so..

- Near the heli tour there's a 'shop' with the sign 69 Exchange.

- Those hipo bins from San Andreas can be found in some places:

SQUID ROW

how is this a reference to Saints Row? that makes no sense

it is a parody of the term SKID ROW, in reference to either 'waiting for the death penalty' or the crack alleys in the ghetto. either context works with Squid Row, budget seafood. i really dont see how anyone sees a parallel between saints row and budget seafood.

"WHATTHEYDONOTWANTYOUTOKNOW.COM" opens up more!!

Theres a topic on this called "Reaching a new level of spirituality" (or sum'n like that),,
this shows you where all the Window Cleaning Elevators are.

So, just for the hell of it, I Way-pointed each one and went to find them.
Some of these were used on missions as you may remember.

AFTER finding each Elevator and Riding each to the top of their building,
I went back to Playboys Safehouse and on to his Lap-Top on the Kitchen worktop ...
went into "W'T'D'N'W'Y'T'K.com" , scrolled down and there were 2 NEW POSTS!

Both of these give you the PHONE CODES to CHEAT !! cookie.gif

Notes:
I had 100% Completion on 2 Files for this to happen. (once before trophys, once after update wink.gif )

I just gotta ask...i remember reading (way back) that there would be phone# scattered around the city that you could call and get little secrets (if i remember correctly, about the story/characters among other things) and small easter eggs.
Has anyone found any numbers that actually work when you call them, or was it just some previewer who saw/heard what he wanted to see/hear and just assumed it was in the game when it really wasn't (just like the whole "we will be able to store weapons in a duffelbag" and "we can store weapons/bodies in the trunk of a car" bullsh*t that people made up after seeing a couple of screenshots...even though R* had said in a preview that you won't be able to store things in (or even open...it was confirmed, by R*, it was removed from the game) trunks)?

If anybody has better quality pictures than the ones on the front page please PM them to me.

If you have discovered an easter egg or secret that is not on the front page PM that to me as well.

I am now OFFICIALLY finishing off the easter egg and secret list.

Remember how the mafia casino in San Andreas was called Caligula's? and the bar where you meet Ray Bocino is called Drusilla's?

Quick history lesson for everyone:
Caligula was a Roman Ceasar who was a little nuts, threw massive orgies in the Imperial palace, made his horse a councilor, and was rumoured to have incestuous relationships with his sisters, one of which was named Drussilla.

BAM!
Was I the first person to notice this?
