Graphics Like The Screenshots

i remember a guy posting a thread on here a while ago saying the screenshot's of the game looks like it was oil paint or chaulk drawings then someone said it was a filter R* used but that guy was wrong that is actually what the game looks like oil paint or chaulk

its a filter they use to cover up some of the imperfections stemming from draw distance and things.

It has the same "filter" that EA Skate does, the graphics in both games are pretty similar.

Stinkfist: don't you think you're being a little over-dramatic? EA occasionally makes decent games and Skate. is probably their best.

Excatly that effect bothered me in a lot of screenshots. It just looked artificially downscaled to me.

However, seeing it in motion, that effect absolutely makes sense. That way they can achieve very large draw distances without you really noticing that in the distance there are really just pretty undetailed models.

In action, this game is absolutely gorgeous!
