Tank you I also like to point out that I only had an unrared version left with I rared and uploaded so I don't know for sure if it is exactly the same as the original upload. The file size is the same so I hope so anyway smile.gif

And, does it work. All of those 1024x1024/2048x2048 mipmapped and the game runs fine ? No crashes, no nothing, cause Knochen sure did said otherwise.

I retextured Ganton with textures up to 4096 pixels (mipmapped) and have absolutely no problems.

Nope, I have mipmapped the textures with proper mipmap levels. :) Everything, even 32x32 has mipmaps.

Lol, the wires which hang over grove street have that resolution (or 64*64), when I force mipmaps on them, they get f*cked up.

Maybe it depends what level you applied to them?

 

I remember months ago when I first showed JF-Mir2 how to apply mipmaps to textures, he tried to MipMap the Todas Ruas road textures; but experienced this problem with the wires around by the gas station in LS.

 

would love to see some comparison screens for this if anyone is up for the challenge?

64x64 requires Level 7 mipmaps, I think it should fix the bug?
