Yes of course, there will be some textures that i will not recreate like the windows and some doors.

But the Screens that you are referring to are wip. Means some Textures are still normal cause they are simply in another txd file.

For example the ammu shop.

It uses different txd files as a ressource.

ammu:xtra
gen_ammuint
sfammu

Just as a example. The Gunshop are now final and hires. And sometimes the dff file strechtes even a 2048 texture so that it looks like a 256x256 texture.

As i stated, i will create or rework nearly all Textures. But of course keep them at a size that makes sense.

A picture on the wall doesnt need to be 2048x2048. Or the gunboard dont need to be 1024x1024.

First i want to keep the mod as small as possible and second i want to let people with non highend cards experience this mod too.

Just for letting you know the mods size will be about 700 MB only Textures.



So just wait for some new pics of final interiours that i will post in a few minutes.

Its really simple.

520 TXD files. Nearly all Textures reworked (about 2500-3000) at minimum double resoultion.

It goes really fast. For Example all Gunshop txds before editing 5mb, after 20 MB.

It will be about that size.

But im constantly testing how the game performs so if i come to a limit i will stop.

The only limit you'd encounter problems with is the streaming memory.. But you can always use sacky's limit adjuster to set that limit.

Other than that, nice job.. I really see the work you've put in it.

( 8Track, KickStar, Bloodring and Zero HQ, and from the last Mission, No-Men's-Land ) smile.gif

Ok,

sorry guys for no updates, but i had some private stuff to do. But i continued work its about 90 percent finished.

Due the release of gta 4 the release of my mod will be pushed back to mid may.

There are about 10 hours of work left, so dont worry it will be released.

Just a few days later.

Yeah i know i'm diggin' this topic up a bit, but i think the only reason it died was because you said around mid may and people just decided to wait. If you finished it, you should realease, or even if you only got 90%. People will still appreciate it, and it seems like a shame to let all that good, hard work go to waste just because the topic died down...

Ok guys.

I lost the motivation a bit cause the san an Engine has limits.

I wanted to work together with Blitz but after recreating high quality LOD files it began laggin on my PC.

I dont know how much the new Interiours affect the laggin. Cause it sucks if i finish up the mod and most of you guys get laggin San Andreas and start flamin and so on.

Cause right now the size of the gta_int.img is 4 times bigger then normal.

Atm i got nearly no time and the unfinished stuff takes lot of work to do.

I can upload the first 250 100% finished txd. files if you guys want them.

ok i decided to upload the whole stuff.
So about 270 txd compltely retextured. and the last 240 about 70-80 %.
The Size unpacked 605 MB, Packed 350 Megs.

I will start uploading at filefront today.

PS: Man, I'm sorry I'm helping around the house and I'm still in construction, I finish the things at 8:00 night, take same bath, and I'm tired... I don't have time to open my computer much and from tomorrow, my bedroom gona be the next to redecorate.

I will finish this mod someday. Next Month or so.
But atm i am too busy and of course too lazy in my freetime (atm im playing Age of Conan in my freetime)

Ok so I tested this out today, and it is just pure awesome. It didn't cause any lag to me, and it looked great. Really was worth downloading.
Only what I didn't like was that some of textures looked maybe too small ( I mean like, when you move it looks like the pixels are moving ), but it doesn't matter that much, it's still much better than the original ones.

I give this mod 9/10 points.

Keep in mind that its still beta or better RC.

Yes i know what you mean. Its looking noisy or grainy.
Thats simply because there are no mipmaps in there.

I tested some with mipmaps but after i created mipmaps in maddogs house it crashed for me.
So i reverted back to no mipmaps.

its both. Some are reworked -> so the original style is still there

some are completely new -> especially those wich have been superdooper low res.

and all the real world stuff is new like posters images on the walls and so on.

Some stuff i dont like, but they will be updated with the next version (wich will be out next month)

Is there still interest in this Mod ?

So i would start finish it and of course change things you dont like and fix some Bugs.

Cause about 125 have downloaded and didnt posted what they liked and disliked.

So if theres enough interest I will start finish it.

Well i dont like that you removed the ghetto from interiors ( trash, broken walls ) thats the main reason i dont download it, but still i like them. cool.gif

Make some ghetto HD and everybody will download icon14.gif orly.gif

well, i will test it as soon as i buy a new new pc for myself (in the end of this year), so i'm very interested in it. Currently my Geforce 440-mx card wont be so grateful to me when i'd install this mod.

I'm sure if most of it is done, then you would have more user feedback from it.

Im glad about the Number of downloads.

But feedback is something that everybody needs to make things better.

Also negative or criticism (hope its the right word wink.gif )

The main reason for me to change it, is that i didnt really liked it.

And most of the Textures are simply reworked.

Only Cjs House and some other Textures have been renewed.

Best experience is with SRT (wich also removes the Ghetto Look imo) and thats the main target this mod aims for.

I will start work on it and finish the last stuff.

So all Casino Stuff and so on.

But i wont revert it to the Ghetto Style.

So you have to stick with the Original Textures.

Those interior pictures are beautiful. It's a shame you couldn't make mipmaps work. I tried too with SRT textures but my game froze on some occasions.

Still, I think I can help you. When you used mipmaps, did the game freeze or crash to desktop? Because I made mipmaps for all of SRT3 textures and I had some freezes with ENB enabled, but only when there were lots of stuff on-screen. I believe it may be down to lack of memory but it's weird since I've got 2GB of RAM and a GeForce 8800GT...

Try only to create mipmaps for 16bit textures since if you do so for 32bit too and save the TXD it will become corrupt.
