[WIP] Interiors Retextured HD

Hi,

after some posts of gtaforums members i have uploaded the current state of my project.

So whats in there

About 90 % retextured. So there still are some normal res textures. about 3000 Textures are used in gta_int.img, so about 300-400 remain original untouched.

There are some unused txd or better are used by hidden interiours.

So i have to say

IF YOU DONT LIKE REAL WORLD STUFF IN YOUR GTA DONT USE THIS MOD.

Cause Burger Shot are reworked to MC DONALDS Interiours.
And one clothing shop reorked to Foot Locker.
DS, Victim, Donut, Pizza and any i forgot remain original.

Also there are real world posters, pics, stuff like newspapers on ground and more.

So if you want to use it i recommend a mcdonalds mod (there are some out in the web).
Foot locker is not nescessary but recommended too.

SO IF YOU DONT CARE ABOUT REAL WORLD OR MAYBE LIKE IT THEN THIS IS FOR YOU.

INSTALL

FIRST BACKUP YOUR GTA_INT IMG FILE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and of course your gta3.img file too.

Simply use your favorite img tool and replace the txd files in your img files.

two folders are in there

to gta3.img

to gta_int.img

And thats all.

Even with only 90 % finished it has been hard work so please dont flame if you find bugs.

Simply report them here.

The report should contain pic of the bug and location on the map (screenshot with red marker)

Some of those greyed stuff is simply rockstars fault not mine.

But maybe you find flipped textures or such stuff. Then simply report it and i will try to fix it.

Of course feel free to fix those stuff on yourself and upload it for other people.

The MOD is renamed to Interiors Revisited.

So that should be all for now.

Hmm.. Oh, yeah I like some things ( textures ), like the door near CJ in left... a and the wood is very nice, you can see the diferents... of course I will download too to see how's gona look smile.gif

Ok,

a liittle screenie update.

The gunboards are remaked. All Bar plates and some more furniture and carpets walls etc.

Screens moved to first post.

And last but not least a little sneakpeak of the mod.

It includes the whole cj House in Ganton and all pictures remaded. And of course some doors reworked.

Install with your fav img tool. The folders are named like the img archives.

PLEASE be sure that your Graphiccard can handle 2048x2048 textures (of course only a few, but they are in their).

I liked the gunboards how they are remaked. Very nice, I realy don't like those normal. I'm very imprested about this mod... I realy wont the final smile.gif 10/10 for now, great job biggrin.gif

Thats it so far.

Progress is going well. But i noticed that sometimes txd workshop renames the textures.
That sucks. Cause then some stuff is grey. But after release i will try to fix those with your help of course.

Another screenie update. Also showing of a txd bug, wich is not my fault. for some reason txd workshop renames some textures to a different name.

Barbershop nearly finished, nastybar updated, nearly finished ammunation incl. boot & gunboard.

As you see more and more textures are getting ready. this is simply because of the alphabetically order i work with.

So some textures still default, and some are so low res that i cant even imagine what it should be LOL

my gta_int.img is currently over 300 MB big and about 200 TXDs done. So you can imagine that this mod will be high quality and of course good looking.

Also im proud of showing the new arcade cabinets. hope you like em.

ALL SCREENS MOVED TO FIRST POST

So i hope you like what you see.

As i said bugfixing will be after first release, of course with your help.

Ok,

a screenie update. Look at the Details, like hifi stuff and so on.

Today im showing of the nearly finished Mad Dogg House and the Final Coin Ops. The Third Coin Op is something special. So you have to find out. biggrin.gif

A sidenote from me, myself and who knows. I will put lots of eastereggs into it, so that you can explore the whole interiors in a new way, maybe a little I found that, is this that contest.
The only requierement is a strong machine and sa limit adjuster. My fps are at 60 outside and about 100 inside for now. Dropped about 10fps inside LOL. with enbseries my machine is at its limit. 19 to 22 fps constant with a 8800gs 384 MB.

Edit:

Dont be afraid of the fps. Im running srt 3, project Oblivion 1.2, oblivion palms addon v2 and replaced about 40 Vehicles.

So if you running a pc with a 6800 gt/ 7600gt (in that region) and install not too heavy mods like project oblivion everything will run smooth cause the interiours are loaded seperatly and are not streamed.

But see and tell me what you think. (The wall of the Mansion is not final. Those Tiles are driving me mad (dogg) and will be changed biggrin.gif ) and the screenies are a bit dark. In movement everything looks so amazing, so detailed. Words cant describe.

So thats all for now and only one screenie update will follow before release.

My goal is to create a first class quality mod with as much detail as possible. Nearly every Texture will be remade.
Mainly the windows will stay the same. Every single crap will be update. The bottles, the posters, pictures, HiFi stuff.

Most of them are already done but i will not show them off. you have to explore and find.

So stay tuned.

The PS3 Console and those Punchbags are not made by me, so they will not be included. If you want them you have to get it yourself. I recommend them for the best experience but of course its your choice.

Cause i got already questions for using textures of my work, i can say one thing:

I will give permission only if you show me off your mod. Only if its a good mod or with good potential i give my ok.
Its really simple. I have put till now about 30 Hours of hard work in this mod. and lots of hours will follow (i think about another 20 Hours). If you could see my working directory you would go crazy LOL Just for fun i marked all Textures im working with atm Total: 1,59 GB = 1887 tga, jpeg, gif and psd files. So first show me details of your mod and then i will make my descision.

As you can see the greyed not textured hifi thing exists in both.

I thought txd workshop makes faults but it seems that the most of those bugs are simply rockstars faults.

But to be really sure can someone take a look at it with an unmodified int.img.

Its the tv stand in mad doggs house. Just make a screenie.

And if its a bug by rockstars is there someone whos skilled enough to edit the dff files to correct those bugs ?

I already collected most of the buggy dff files including the txds.

So if there is someone interested in fixing those simply reply or pm me.

Is a bug from R*, they forgot to add a texture to that "model" I don't know what can be, because is white confused.gif but I have found the bug

You see that color, white under the texture, I think there they have forgot to add it... try to turn that white color in an other color (like red for example), then go at Madd Dogg Mansion and see if that is gona be red... if yes, then means that you have to make a texture like those others, like this 2 :

Can you make a tutorial how you made a "re-texture" but to be a good tutorial smile.gif ... and if you have time and if you want smile.gif ?! Because I have continue with a mod, but I don't know how to make a Re-texture confused.gif , well I have made only 1-2 re-textured but hard... bored.gif and the only thing that I dind't make are the buildings from SA.

this is your problem. The only thing not bugged is the material id which has
been assigned.

Yes maybe i will do a basic tut sometime.

But ic an say one thing.
It depends from texture to texture. Some are good to retexture some not. Tiles are really easy.

Im working with photoshop. Using filters, some reliefs, transpareny, luminance and so on.

For example the texture you have chosen is basically the same texture only *16. Added some filters adjusted contrast.

A hard texture rework like this

The base is the same texture. The detail has been added afterwards. A rework like this has about 15 to 20 layers with different transparency, filters, saturation, gamma and so on. It takes about 20 minutes to create.


But i will write a tut after i finished this project.

look for texture with zmodeler or 3dmax if you want
to learn mapping to these grey parts in tutorial forum

removing that bit of electrical kit in the workaround
posted looks ok to me since theres already a vcr, stereo
and game console.

have a think about it.

Very nice work, Knochen icon14.gif Your HD Interiors make everything in the interiors appear more clean and sparkly. I'm going to ask this: Are you going to do this for Vice City? I really hope someone like you could re-texture the interiors of Vice.

if someone wants his musik cds in the game just make a photo of your cd s.

Be sure its hi res. maybe 5 to 7 megapixel.

I rework it to the texture.

The first who post a good hires pic of his cds will be named somewhere on a texture and the credits and of course has his cd s ingame biggrin.gif

Little progress report.

245 txd files are finally finished. Means Textures are final.
265 txd half finished.

So what needs to be done

lots of special textures like bar fridges, beds and stuff like that.

Some txd bugs caused by txd workshop fixed.

Little stats

My gta_int archive is atm 530 MB big. I dont know if GTA SA has limits for this file. I hope not.

2221 Textures rewoeked or newly created.

Working directory cureently contains 3540 files with a size of 3 GB LOL

Release Date still planned by the end of month but this project is a lot bigger then i thought.

Rockstar created so many different textures. Kudos to that.

Thats it for now. No screenies today. I still need a pic of a musik cds. So if anyone wants to feel free to post one.
