Okay, i got excited when i found out that you could play 2-player, but now i think it sucks. You cant go too far from player 2, there is no split screen....., You cant drive in separate cars, and you cant access any of the cars in your garages. I think this 2-player in san andreas was not even worth making because of how unpractical it is.

There's a certain degree of fun you can have with the 2-player, but it pretty much sucks.

I suggest you buy the PC version (unless you already have it) and download San Andreas Multiplayer.

2-player mode is not bad, but it would be better if there was splitscreen mode smile.gif Players could walk far from each other, deathmatch would be possible and drive-by would be easier because it would be possible to shoot back.

Well, I agree. It's too hard to play 2-player with no split screen. It's stupid. If there was split screen, then 2 players could roam anywhere in San Andreas and they wouldn't have to be together. Do you think GTA IV will have a feature like this? That would be pretty sick. icon14.gif

GTAIV will have online multiplayer, so no need for splitscreen.

no i dont have pc version, just ps2. I hope GTA 4 does have 2 player split screen. That would be great if you could even do 2-player live.....Best bet would probably be to get GTA4 for the PC. tounge.gif

That's what I meant. That if someone doesn't have live for PS3, then they can just activate 2-player mode for GTA IV...and it would be split screen! tounge.gif

Me and my mate play 2player on SA.

What we do is get a pickup (Like Ryders), my mate stands in the back of the pickup with the shotgun, while I drive and hes shooting off the back biggrin.gif

same here me and my hommie play all the time i shoot and he drives it helps to sharpen your aiming skills resulting in higher accuracy and ease when hitting those gas tanks. I prefer to ride a NRG-500 for 2 player mayhem

If split screen exists on SA, it would be very bad because:

1. How the hud of each player will appear on a very short space?
2. The camera would be too jumpy and/or badly formed.

End.

Yeah, man. I love riding a motorcycle in 2-player mode. It's so fun! It kinda reminds me of that mission where CJ and OG Loc hunt down Freddy or whatever his name was. You know, the motorcycle chase, with that gay Vagos? Now, that was an awesome mission! Yeah, that's what it reminds me of.

I mean, i enjoy the non-live multiplayer, because i'm just used to being able to see who i play the game with. Not to mention me and my friends still have fun, despite it's limits.

I agree, its funner to see the person your playing with, and to know them personally. Not just someone random.
