Wow. I can see that either

a.) You don't know what happened to your so-called "hero".
b.) You want them to continue without him, which is f*cking stupid and will never happen.

Yeah, plus we all know Grohl killed him, that'd blow his cover big time. turn.gif

Any Bush fans? I can't believe these guys only became as popular as they did.

I wouldn't say I'm a fan yet, but I recently started listening to them and I really like their stuff.

Little Things, Everything Zen, Bomb, Personal Holloway, Cold Contagious, and Mouth (the Deconstructed remix) are really good.

Everybody know Kurt's childhood friend, Roger Osborne, killed Kurt Cobain by giving him a lethal dose ("hot shot") of heroin and then shot him to make it seem like a suicide. Both Osborne and Courtney Love have confirmed this.

Yes Nirvana is on more. Oh and what about RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS. I am not quite sure about the Genre of that band. My brother says its slow rock.

The guy (William DuVall) can sing, but he sounds nothing like Layne Staley and gives a completely different sound to the old songs.

I can't imagine the new album being very good.

Slow rock? Uhh....

Well it depends on which album you're talking about. Their earlier stuff is definitely funk.

Can we stop talking about what killed him? For 2 reasons.

1.If we keep talking about it, this topic is gonna be shut down
2.Who cares what killed him? Listen to his music. That's the best way to remeber him.

P.S. it was Courteny Love who killed Kurt(PYSCHO! confused.gif )

Aah, know all about that. Thought maybe there was an mp3 leak or something.

BeesWax...you went to Pinkpop '96? You were like what..7 years old? tounge.gif Anyway '92 was probably my favorite Pinkpop, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden played, and I have all the video of their sets.

Actually I came in here to talk about Helmet. They really sound like Soundgaden. EDIT: Doesn't look like I can stream, thanks to universalmusic...here's the links then:

I like Helmet, but I seriously think they could have put more effort into their music after Betty, or not bother at all. confused.gif

Been listening to lots of Kyuss lately, love their psychedelic sound. Any other fans?

He tries to mimic Layne's voice waay too much, he should just try his own style you know? Anyways I think the new stuff will be good, but we will never get another 'Dirt'..

I'm into Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters now as well.

Everlong, My Hero, I'll Stick Around, Monkey Wrench, Zero, Rocket, Cherub Rock, Bullet w/ Butterly Wings, Ava Adore are probably the top ones for me right now.

Have you heard the latest Pumpkins album? I quite like it. I'm also currently digging Learn to Fly and Times Like These by the Foo Fighters.

And lately I can't get enough Stone Temple Pilots. From Core to No.4, I've just been listening to them a lot lately. And I'm really hoping they stop in New York for their summer tour.

Yes, Learn To Fly! That is actually my #1 Foo Fighters song right now and I forgot to list it. As for Zeitgeist, I haven't really heard much from it, but is it true it's like a hard edged album all the way through?

As for STP, I'm playing Sex Type Thing a lot on Rock Band.

I checked out the new foo fighters album. IT seems very mature though still has that old foo fighters sound. I really hated the new smashing pumpkins album, mostly because the only original members were billy and jimmy. Also the songs weren't all good.

I like "Doomsday Clock" off Zeitgeist the best.

That album isn't too bad. Have you heard "Best of You"? That's one of my favorites from the album, along with "DOA", "The Deepest Blues Are Black", "Hell", and pretty much everything on the first disc.
