This is weird... instead of using the provided crane - just drive the vehicle onto the ship and then onto the red marker! lol.gif

That is very old and well-known.

Why are you posting old information?

I post what I find. I didn't know it until I found about it... It's also because I didn't know that it was already discovered. tounge.gif

Yeah, I would have thought. What I laughed about is that I punched in words related to that side mission into Google, and some said you "HAVE" to use to crane! lol.gif

Some people who post in the "Cheats & Tricks" do the same thing right? They just simply post what they found out by themselves.

Look around before posting something next time..if you found it without any difficulty you should realize someone else already has too. confused.gif

Not weird, it's common sense. Except that you damage most of the cars if you try that with them. So you don't earn as much. But it's they way I have always done it for the motorbikes

Yup another misunderstanding in the English dictionary...

It's like a "slope", so you don't really damage the vehicle.Just try to turn with care.

It's not the slope that damages them but trying to get the longer or larger vehicles round that corner. It can be done, but it's easier to use the crane biggrin.gif

I always drive the car up the ramp BECAUSE...
most of the time...drive into marker, goes to cutscene telling you car has been delivered, CJ falls onto shipdeck from sky DURING cutscene
...the AI tosses him out of the car while it is up out of sight in the cutscene...ROFL...I have a vid
too.

I'd like to see that biggrin.gif

Rather than drive the car into the marker, try parking the car under the magnet (the shadow shows where it is) and then walking into the marker to operate the crane. It's much easier.

I always drive the vehicles up the ramp, and they never get damaged.
It's very easy to drive them up there without getting any damage; the only one that even presents a challenge is the Journey, because of it's size, all other vehicles are very easy.

And, the cutscene that says that the vehicle has been delivered functions normally, C.J. doesn't fall from the sky. I have done this several times, so you will need to provide that video to prove that he does in fact fall from the sky for you.

The only falling C.J. has ever done for me is afterwards: I'll jump off of the side of the ship instead of walking back down the ramp. tounge2.gif

Hey, that's exactly what I do. Too lazy to walk down the ramp. sigh.gif
But I always end up damaging the Journey and the Tanker. It's a bit difficult to get them up the ramp. If I go slow, then there's not enough power. When I generate some speed, it gets damaged. I guess I suck at driving larger vehicles.

Same here. And then I just grab the NRG from the challenge area and go on looking for more cars to export.

I've never even tried getting the Tanker or the Journey using the ramp. The first time I got there, I realized that they'd be too slow and they'd probably brush their sides against the rails of the ramp, damaging them. So, I use the crane for those two vehicles.

But all the rest, I use the ramp. However once, I drove up onto the ship and towards the red marker. The magnet of the crane was hovering right there, and I got my car stuck onto the magnet. Then I couldn't get CJ to get out so I had to reload. lol.gif
