But I want to. Some genius posters around my small city would be a nice addition.
I tried bombing before and I might come back, but why not do both?

I think a good mural can be an amazing way to do graffiti, i wish i had enough skill to paint life like portraits! But i found a man by the name of Owen Dippie, he has to be one of the most talented mural artists i have ever seen.

Here is something in done in rememberence of Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley.
I wish i could paint anything like this

they're alright, good work, but try to make something more original, they're very usual. Everyone starts with stuff like this, but some stay with it, some get better smile.gif

There not bad by any means, theres a certain flow and style you have in those sketches! The only thing ill say is that your clearly going more towards the wildstyle side of things, so i think your letters could use some tweaking to make them more fitting for the style! Then start adding the connections, the link ups and arrows.

Wildstyle is purely that, wild. Many people cant even read what most of them say, (Which is kind of the point) And i think your letters are just a little to plain to mesh with the wildstyle...Style.

Practice makes perfect though icon14.gif

Bump on this topic, but has anyone been sketching or doing any graffiti lately? Would be nice to see some new stuff it's been a while. Me and a friend decided to relive our teens last summer and went on a couple of painting sessions, nothing to exciting but its always a good fun time.

This one was disappointing, i tried a kind of green mist effect between each letter overlapping the grey, but the wall was wet and the green paint was sh*t. The wall just swallowed the paint basically.

Quick hand style, keeping it simple. Mine is the "chaty" one, not the maze one.

Here is my mate getting started on a dub, as you can see on the left, mine is already finished. Colored it with a few scraps i had left in various cans of paint.

That's in Bristol, on the side of Thekla - an awesome club based in an old cargo ship. Got a few mates at UWE so I've been there a few times.

I always loved graffiti and always wanted to give it a try, never bothered to actually become better because I always claimed inside of me that I am a sh*t drawer and such...
I suck at doing these, I have a great imagination but I can't stick it down on the paper. Any tips?
