Back in august 2006 a terrible thing happened. My awesome self built custom computer of 2 years died on me. The power supply blew. I literally cried, on my knees, holding my pcs tower. I had no job no money and had just began a addiction of smoking methamphetamine. Life did not get much better from there for some time.

Eventually I got things back on track. After my parents sent me to rehab in jan 07 I got my mind into a better place, and basically grew up alot. Today I have a job working as a dishwasher and partial prep cook at a restaurant I like alot. Im in the USAF and going to basic training in feb 08. Im doing it to start my career and get some training, either in mechanics or possibly something else. Im not sure yet, I'll see after I get through BT.

Things were still not right, untill today. I got my comp finally fixed! I thought everything was blown and fried, but I just didnt know how to hook my new power supply.

This computer is amazing its such a time capsule, full of things from when I was a different person. Im so happy to have my computer back. Life is good now. Things really cant get much better, yet.

Great story. I'm glad the only 2 things you had going for you in your life were meth and your computer.

At least you shook the meth. But it's still pretty pathetic.

That's great. I remember when my Windows died on me last year it sucked so bad. But now all you have to worry about is not getting blown to pieces mid-flight. Other than that, you are good to go!

I remember when my computer got fried. I had to wait months to get a replacement. And a week after I got my new computer, it got f*cking fried again. A few weeks later I got it fixed though.

Moral of the story: make sure your surge protector isn't a piece of sh*t, and unplug the computer when you leave the house.

I hope you didn't turn to drugs BECAUSE your computer died on you, that'd be a little severe.

Glad you turned your life around icon14.gif icon14.gif

Dude, you should be proud. Good job on turning your life around for the better. icon14.gif

Oh, you're in the Air Force DEP right now? Hit me up via PM or MSN ([email protected]), and I could tell you all about my basic training this past summer, and how tech school is going for me so far.

Welcome back.
