I guess the mall's stores we're all out of Nintendo Wii's.

This all could of been avoided if he got his Nintendo Wii. happy.gif

And why are you so sure of that Typhus? What has convinced you that our actions will be accounted for after we die and that we possibly face hell?

Because jebus told him so.

This is a discussion forum. I'm merely asking why Typhus believes that people are accountable, why he believes in hell? What's wrong with that?

Well, I see where you are coming from. From the perspective of someone who disagrees someone who makes statements as fact can seem overbearing. People are usually strongly attached to their beliefs and it affects their behavior... I know that's the case with me, but I am open at the same time... I might be a die hard atheist, but I don't depend on it and if proof somehow emerged against it I would definitely take it into consideration and not just brush it aside like most Christians I know do.

Except the criminals aren't going to give up guns.. they'll just get them on the black market like many do already.

On the contrary, if a regular citizen who was there had a permit and was carrying, he could have taken out the gunman before so many people died. (This has happened before)

If you're a hardened atheist, you would never be open to the consideration of evidence contrary to your beliefs. You would fall more under "skeptical agnosticism" based on what you're saying.

I wouldn't call myself agnostic. It all goes back to the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Just because you can't prove or disprove his existence doesn't mean I say, "well, I don't know"... it's obvious someone made up FSM to me, just as obvious to me that someone made up God. I don't believe, I'm not skeptical at all. But, let's say that in the infinitely minescule chance that some evidence, REAL evidence, came along to support the Flying Spaghetti Monster, I would have to take it into strong consideration as a man of logic.

Wow, because a handful of people died in an Omaha mall? Yes it's a tragedy, but that doesn't mean we have to give up our constitutional rights. Many more people die on a daily basis in car crashes, so shouldn't we also ban cars?

Tighter gun regulations would certainly be a welcome change, though. We don't need crazies shooting up our malls, and yes, the man did do the killings. Guns don't kill 9 shoppers in Omaha, people do.
