[REL|SA|CONV] Tardis from Dr Who for San Andreas
Posted 26 November 2007 - 12:37 PM
Model: James Murphy
Textures: Christopher Gill
Conversion, UV Mapping and GTA vehicle rigging: [DRuG]NikT
Original model source: http://www.btinterne...obor/meshes.htm
This model replaces the San Andreas Sparrow with Dr. Who's Tardis - in most episodes it's a time traveling device that just appears and disappears, but at times it is depicted to float about as it does in San Andreas.
You could probably replace any other chopper instead - I just haven't tried.

This mod has received less feedback than any other I've released... your comment was the only one!
I guess, unless you watch Doctor Who, this mod would elicit little more than a WTF.... but it makes the perfect partner to the Dalek I released earlier... which probably mostly got a WTF as well.
I have just tested replacing other choppers with the Tardis, and they are working fine...
Gotta say, this look hilarious in MTA, when you're racing alongside about 30 other police boxes.

much better than switch designs one (plus yours has proper permission lol)
i dont think it needs sounds as the tardis only makes a noise when appearing/dissapearing, and it would sound wrong to have the sample playing all the time. the helicopter noise fits it ok i think.
