As far as I know, those textures are from the texture pack I made for the developers. So they should all be either 256*256, 512*512 or 1024*1024 pixels wink.gif .

Also, today I started modeling the pride of USLC, the addon island for the mod called "Avalon". It's gonna be placed north of Portland, and it's industrial themed. Expect updates soon wink.gif .

Nice Building, but i've a question to Cused, did you build those building with a things who relate bthe scale? i mean, did you have importyed a ped or something in the scenne to keep the real proportion of all the door and ect. ?

Because i can see in those last pic (the first in particular), the door and the window are IMO not on the right scale...

One of the door is hight than the blue one, and those and the second floor is to small for the window...but maybe it's just me...

Keep your work, is going fine...

It's looking ok, but imho buildings don't look unique enough yet compared to R* one in GTAIII. It needs more details, little unique additions to walls, etc.

Aiming to get the same result as GTADedan's posted image ?

That would be very hard to achive Paroxum, but that result would be good. It isn't scaled yet. It's hard without the use of bump-maps.

Anyway you need to exit the generic style builds if the goal here is to create an HD Liberty City (if i'm not mistaken). I know it's alot of work, but with sketches and inspiration it's possible.

I don't know what that building picture is, whether it is real life or not, but it doesn't look that hard to come up with something that looks pretty simillar to it. Also, from what I see, it looks pretty good considering there is only one reference picture (I think).
Remember to add in all the little props such as the pipe(s) along the walls and the vents everywhere.

That picture is rumored to be rendered in the Half Life engine. It's using bumpmaps to make certain things look 3D, and the lighting is very advanced, I avoided the pipes because of the polygons involved.
