Why's everybody down on the title Absolution? I like it.

"Redemption" was taken. tounge.gif

But seriously, "Absolution" is one of those overused title buzzwords to be sure.

Get your ass in gear Eidos, I wanted this game a year ago. Details now.

Like, "RESURRECTION."

What's another hitman-related word they could've used? Hitman: Underworld? Ah, that's another buzzword.

Ugh 'Abosolution'?

Nothing can ever beat the title of 'Blood Money'. NOTHING!

Absolution is fine, what I'm worrying about is the game itself.

Been wanting this game for years. Got pissed off every time I saw something pertaining to K&L, "Stop f*cking about and make the next Hitman already!"

Hoping for a game that builds on the quality of Blood Money, but with more assignments. It would be interesting to see Eidos work in some Multiplayer, although I'm not sure how this could best be done?

Some kind of mode where players are multiple hitmen chasing one target? One player is the target? Create-an-assignment? Endless possibilities, but I might be getting myself a bit over-excited there.

I actually think Co-op could work really well.

Think about it: You and your Hitman colleague both need to get into a guards-only restricted area. So one of you grabs a Security Guard uniform, whilst the other "acts suspicious". Then the Hitman dressed as a guard can "arrest" the suspicious Hitman and smuggle you both into the guards-restricted area.

well,i just hope Hitman will got hunted by bunch of another hitman.and player have to avoid and kill each of them
i don't like how those hired killer work in Blood Money, the map is small and they're too easy to spot, there are just 3 times you encounter them and they can be easy to kill
just hope this time things will going to get better, but i hope it will be a long game.most of games in this series are short, just 8-9 missions, thanks God they're interested enough to keep me playing for all those years over and over again

They already did the whole "hunted" thing in Silent Assassin, though, and it almost felt over the top.

Isn't 47 doing the hunting this time around? The agency was more or less destroyed, Diana split, etc. We should get a Return of the Hitman situation here, with 47 blasting back at those Franchise f*ckers are whoever was picking off agency...agents.

Maybe the FBI will blackmail 47 into hunting down Diana by holding onto his wife and kid. ph34r.gif

Uh, no. Diana lost contact with 47 at the end of Blood Money, but obviously planned on telling 'your majesty' about him, and hopefully recruiting him into whatever-the-f*ck operation she's in now. As for 47, he's apparently pleased with what that Asian man had 'in the back'. If you.. get me.

I still play Blood Money every now and then. Redneck missions never cease to entertain.

I really loved the mission where you go into the highrise with the Heaven Club on the top floor and the Hell Club down in the basement. I don't use "epic" as a describing word often but that was a real stand out.

Everybody is praising stuff I hated about Hitman. I hate the silly levels, the missions based on goofy movies. I still think Silent Assassin was the best sequel. Even though the ninja levels were sh*t. I want it to go back to being about killing bad guys, reading dossiers beforehand, less flash more substance.

I finde all the hitman's f*cking awsome

I buyed the collection and play them all out once a year . (of course not always to sneaky)

Hitman 1 is still a funny game and i love the hotel mission , or the mission in the jungle whit the dude that looks like Scarface . The end whas just , strange . It whas so hardcore and at once you just kill the doctor!

Hitman silent assassin : Was the first hit man game i played . I f*cking just loved it! All the missions where so awesome! ow some levels are whit military and others whitout . Loved the storyline

Hitman contracts : was just a remake i still though the missions where very fun , but contracts had so much dark feeling
and the slaughterhouse mission was disgusting!

Hitman 4 : Well i loved that one ,I f*cking loved the missions you where able to take so many paths so many options
so much stuff i did in it .
i just think its an perfect game

Hitman 5: I hope its gonna be whit larger areas , new guns and a better sort of storyline . What the others not really had .
Since hitman 2 the storyline was freaking me out . Like in hitman 3 i have no idea WTF is happening in the cut scenes .

And i hope they fix the clothing errors and stuff
There is just a lot to be improved But still

I love the series and never i will hate them :-D

They need to go back to the tone of Contracts, pull back the excessive gun customizing, pretty up the graphics, and make the story more like Silent Assassin. That'll make me a happy killer.

as long as they leave it up to the player how to play the missions, provide us with the freedom to chose, and by that I mean a lot of freedom, and imagination to get hits done in the cleverest possible ways, I'll be happy.

I think it's more important that they tone down the 'clone' business. For such a great series, they have made way too many forays into the realm of science fiction. I want human enemies and a plausible story. No more f*cking clones.

That's actually a teaser. But f*ck yeah. Can't wait for some footage on E3 hopefully. If this turns out to be a 2011 release it's gonna be on top of my list. f*ck everything else. It's been far too long.
