Hi guys, I'm in a conundrum and wondering if there's a solution.

I am questioning if there's a way to transfer original xbox games created on the 360 (as it's a backwards compatible game) to another 360?

I've tried using a USB stick but when I go to transfer content only actual 360 games are able to be moved where as backwards compatible game saves only have a delete option. Is there just no way to transfer original xbox game saves from a 360 to another?

Look up the Horizon tool for the Xbox. It allows you to plug in your Xbox 360 formatted USB (or HDD with transfer kit) and explore the files and folders. It's simple to use and will allow you to transfer saves and other files etc. Drag and drop simple

My 360 Slim got the RLoD last night. I had my 360 laying flat and I just so happened to have a open water bottle next to it.

I spilled some into it and I turned it off immediately. Just turned it on today and it works.

Xbox 360 Live

When you buy a Xbox Live what other extra things do you get and do you have to plug in a internet cable in or do you not need one because you're using Xbox Live?

Whey you buy Xbox Live, everything including Multiplayer, Apps, etc comes with it...(I am assuming that's what you are asking?) And you get 2 free games for every month too.

And yes, you need a Ethernet cable to connect your 360 with your modem.

If you have the slim Xbox 360, then yes you can use Wi-Fi, if you have the original white models then you have to buy the adapter.

Do you get a lot of lag from Wi-Fi?

^ Yes, but only if you have the S or E model (the latest ones). The original 360 doesn't have built in WiFi.

I do not have the Live subscription right now (ended last July) but the latest games are Sleeping Dogs and Lara croft, I think.

If you have a spare lead then go wired wifi is ok if there's no alternative but I couldn't recommend wifi over a wired connection.

Heard Dead Island was really buggy.

Any recommendations?

What recommendation would you like? If you got Gold, game is free, so you may as well download it, try it for yourself and either keep or delete it. What else is to say here?

I will be definitely checking it, even if I'm not keen on zombie games.

I don't have alot of room on my harddrive.

That's why I asked. I'll either have to delete Halo 4 or Borderlands 2.

I don't have much space either (60 Gb HDD), so I will delete Sleeping Dogs very likely only to download Dead Island and delete it soon after it. Even If I won't play the game soon, it will be on downloads lists forever, so I will able to download it at any time. That's the thing I can recommend you.

Yeah, I guess I'll download it and then stop. I could always redownload it down the line again.

I haven't even gotten far in Sleeping Dogs yet.

Xbox 360 Live

When you buy a Xbox Live what other extra things do you get and do you have to plug in a internet cable in or do you not need one because you're using Xbox Live?

First you buy an Xbox 360. To play games online with other people you have to buy a Gold subscription to Xbox Live. You can buy a subscription with a credit card the first time you try to connect to the internet with your Xbox 360.  A new Xbox 360 comes with a controller and a headset. A newer 250GB Xbox 360 comes with built in Wi-Fi. With an older Xbox 360 you have to buy a Wi-Fi antenna and plug the antenna into the Xbox 360. One of the best things about Xbox Live is free game demos. Almost all Xbox 360 games have free demos you can download from Xbox Live.

I don't know what the hell is going on, but this is great! The Valentine's day Free Gold weekend was supposed to have ended at midnight yesterday, but it is still working for me! Just letting anyone know in case they don't already have gold. Not gonna speak so soon though, they could stop it at any time.

Since I couldn't find the Gamertag topic anymore, I'm going to add it in here - MOTKilnerLUFC. Could do with having a few new faces on my list, hopefully ones willing to help me out on some co-op games.

Been picking up some great deals lately on the marketplace. Never really had the money to splash out on games during the peak of the 360's reign, so missed out on so many good games, but with a lot of them coming in at under £10, and even £5, you can't really beat it. Picked up Bioshock 1&2 and both Batman Arkham City/Asylum games for like £16 in total, and a load of other games. Never really liked downloading games, as I prefer the physical copy on my shelf, but at these prices you can't miss it.

Now it's just a matter of actually completing my 100+ games...

Too bad nobody hardly talks about the 360 anymore, anyways i'm gonna go ahead and bump this for the people who still have interest in it.

I bought Saints Row The Third the other day and have been playing that, pretty good game and definitely better than IV with that super power and alien crap. Missions are a bit tedious at times but all in all it's pretty fun, soundtrack is damn good too.

About a couple months ago I also bought Devil May Cry 4, Mass Effect 1, and Mass Effect 3. I haven't played either in a while and haven't started on Mass Effect 3 yet because I haven't finished the first one yet. I also need to get Mass Effect 2 one day.
