Flea markets, every weekend. I try to limit myself to 20$ a week, but that never happens.

I try to find them around here.
The only flea market type thing I ever find here is full of dealers and to get an album I want I'll have to pay 10x more than its worth.

So I go to Yard Sales

I wouldn't waste my time with the anniversary albums, they're worth close to nothing. All my Floyds are first pressing, as are some of my other ones. Most of my Skynyrds are, as well as Rod Stewarts and Jefferson Airplane. I believe there's more but I'm not sure.

What's your favorite album you own?

I'm not too sure of the most rare one I have is, but my favorite is "Lynyrd Skynyrd - Street Survivors" just for its sentimental value. My mom bought it the week before she was to see them perform live. Well, that week, they got into that plane crash. That was the same week they took the flames off the cover and made it what it is today.

Oh yeah. I'm an aspiring DJ, so I have two decks and some other equipment. I listen to them on a day to day basis, they seem to have held up pretty good. (Some of them I won't touch though, I'm afraid of ruining some.)

But yeah, my day to day deck is a Numark 1600TT belt drive. Picked it up for 100$ on Musicians Friend.

So, how did you get into collecting?

I just picked it up one day and never stopped. I think it started when I found my dad's albums in the basement when I was young, I can't remember.

Ah, cool cool.

I'm trying to get into some more rare recordings, any suggestions of what to buy? I've got the LOTR picture discs already. Bought them for 10, seen them go for over 100 on Ebay.

The only Rarities I really know of are a Sun Label Johnny Cash Record in good Condition and The Beatles Infamous Butcher Cover for Yesterday and Today.

I highly doubt I'll be able to get either, but I'll keep my eyes peeled. Any psychedelic rarities? There's a guy that always sells psych sh*t I know.

It's one of my favorite sites. Real cheap too, most albums go from $1 to $5.

I haven't had a good turntable or amp, so I haven't been able to enjoy the few vinyls I have.

I'm too lazy to list my collection, as most of it is 70's crap that my mom/dad left me (John Travolta released an album? She even got it f*cking signed). And I don't feel like digging through my closet.

I just felt like gracing this topic with a non-Blackout?/XN22 post.

I noticed we were the only ones who posted, also.

I picked up a Crosby, Stills, and Nash Album today that was sealed with the original packaging for $1
